If one is a chucklehead and buys silver high/DCAs when the ratio is low then it is a poor store of value indeed, but I don't preach DCAing or promote FOMO. I bought gobs at under 14.80/oz with premium in 2020 (a ratio of 1:100 with the cost of physical gold at the time) and since then have almost exclusively stacked below-spot cheapies as a sort of gainful hobby, not easily replicable by others but perfectly valid and lucrative nonetheless. I agree it's a more volatile and speculative metal, so if you don't have a knack for timing, don't know how to recapture premiums, sell profitably, or can't figure out how to efficiently buy at good prices then perhaps one should just stick to gold. In picrel i got the choice BU Texas half for $130 in trade (sells for quite more online) and all the others are different marginally lower levels of uncirculated. Maine was $85, 1926 Oregon Trail $135, and the 1920 Pilgrim Tercentenary with a superior sailship rendering on reverse just $70 in silver bullion, which I stacked at half of current spot price. Feels ridiculously good bros, WAGMI.
