I love my mom and i really want to support her in getting better but it's come to a point where she needs to grow up and start being a real adult. I do everything, i get the money, i get the groceries, i solve problems with my brothers and sisters, im the second youngest and yet i do all this and more. Im planning on moving out next year, to another city, after she recovers her movility (she just had a foot surgery) and can work again. After that i will still support her in getting mental health (she needs real adult friends) and finding a better job. She's smart so she can actually manage her money without fucking up, the one who actually was bad with money was my dad (they divorced 3 years ago, she's still recovering from the multi-decade scars a shitty marriage leaves).
Meanwhile im stuck in my job because it's got a decent pay and leaves me enough money to gamble on shitcoins. Today for example im spending the monthly 300 i allow myself to spend on the 7/11 launch (i do have a problem with gambling).
Anyway, i hope this gets better for both of us because it's seriously stopping me from progressing in life

Your mom's are selfish bitches in my honest opinion. She's stunting your growth and stopping you progressing in life. Any parent who stumps their children with guilt and just being all round incompetent are failures.

My parents are financially independent and help their children, mind their grandchildren and give life and financial advice. They kept themselves healthy and if anything bad happens them, they are in a position to sort themselves out.

I have a mate who's dad drank and smoke heavily. He's been minding his 'dying' father for about 7 years now. While we all have been progressing with careers, relationships and having a good ole time. Our mate is changing his deadbeat father's nappies, rolling him around in a wheelchair, stressing and not doing anything and just waiting for this fucker to die.
