I am an active duty US marine corps officer. It’s fucking hard depending on what you are doing. Unless you’re autistic you’ll probably hate it. 99% of biz would not be mentally, medically, or physically fit to serve. If you are joining to serve your country you are a fucking retard, you are working for oil.

You can get lucky though. My wife and I are living in Japan for 3 years and I have a pretty sweet job. It’s what you make of it. My salary is not bad either. I’m going to get out soon and go completely monk mode on the real estate market.
