Where you all get hung up is buying the house in cash which is retarded. Even if you spent $10,000 per month in mortgage you'd have so much fucking money left.

I seed to work for a catering company.
Any food that remained after an event had to be thrown away. We couldn't even take any home with us or brought to food banks.
I stuffed my face with the leftovers when no one was looking.
It was very sad.

My sister many years ago worked in a donut shop and this is what I remember her telling me...By law, the donuts are considered 'perishables', so to keep them overnight (you can), they must be refrigerated (in a separate refrig). Most places just had one employee use refrigerator and a small store use one, so they didn't have room for the stuff. Then she said they actually do give the stuff away to homeless and their charities, but they had to come within 15 minutes of closing, which they often did not, and it didn't make the employees comfortable having bums hanging around. The final straw she said, was when they had a few Asian women coming around at closing taking the throwaway stuff and then the donut shop owner found out they were taking them and reselling them the next day at their stores (that sold many things, like a dollar store). After that, the owner said no mas, and once again shows the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

liability, corporations cant give away free shit to homeless shelters because the minute some bum get sick they can sue them for providing expired food. its better to throw it away than leave yourself open to lawsuits

ya, no good deed goes unpunished.
