It's worth a thought, but IIRC Ripple isn't getting a fuckoff-huge bag of XRP+ to match their billions of tradXRP, so their institutional connections aren't going to really apply to the sidechain. I might be mistaken on that though.

My personal view is that it's basically the open beta for hooks as a future amendment on the main XRPL. Ripple's going to be watching closely, and if it's a big clusterfuck, they're uninvolved.
