Time to face it folks:

AVAX's success is solely attributed to the L1 hype of the '21 bullrun. Nothing less, nothing more. There were so many other promising L1's that could compete with ethereum with innovative tech (AVAX, Solana, Kadena, etc.)

The sad truth about crypto is that ONLY hype matters. Yes, the hype factor also pertains to institutional interest. Institutions are only interested in established cryptos (Bitcoin and Eth). Meanwhile, any "competition" that might've popped up is solely for VC's to prey on small fry investors like the poor saps who invested in AVAX amongst other coins.

Game over, AVAX baggies. You fell for evil VC's once again, and I wouldn't be surprised if the team themselves teamed up with VC's like the devs of ICP did.
