Within the next 10 years there will be peaks of inflation in the US, they will go back to the gold standard, there will be heavy cut spendings, massive left wing demonstrations, and very likely an armed marxist revolution.

The US has enough oil sitting in canada and south america to not actually give a shit. It's less brics refusing to do business in dollars than it is the us refusing to do business in other currencies than their own when it comes to the oil market, which pisses off those oil producing countries because they get a worse deal having to do trade in dollars. It'll be interesting to see which side blinks first but I doubt it'll be the US.

That would be a problem if 63% of all global trade wasn't done in dollars, but it is so there's still more than a big enough market to sell currency into. More than selling currency the US sells their military coming in to shitkick things so that business keeps running, war is a racket isn't just a book, and their response to countries not doing trade in dollars is going to be no longer playing world police in the ways and places that keep business running for those countries. When other countries treasuries start dropping the dollar in a big way and it stops being the most common currency for world trade is the time to worry and that isn't happening for the most part.

It’s not about invading, it’s about lack of protection. When countries stop wanting to play ball with the US and we pull our military out then that makes a country a target for takeover by some other hostile foreign country.

>> No.55937697

>>55937687
It's a little bit about invading but is largely about providing protection for a region or country. Go read war is a racket, the US does a lot of good with its military and it's responsible for a lot of technological advancements that make life better for everyone including the internet we're posting on but they very much do war for profit sometimes.

hmm listen to what this redneck has to say

I've been sellin' my soul, workin' all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay
So I can sit out here and waste my life away
Drag back home and drown my troubles away

It's a damn shame what the world's gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is

Livin' in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control
Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do
And they don't think you know, but I know that you do
'Cause your dollar ain't shit and it's taxed to no end
'Cause of rich men north of Richmond

I wish politicians would look out for miners
And not just minors on an island somewhere
Lord, we got folks in the street, ain't got nothin' to eat
And the obese milkin' welfare

Well, God, if you're 5-foot-3 and you're 300 pounds
Taxes ought not to pay for your bags of fudge rounds
Young men are puttin' themselves six feet in the ground
'Cause all this damn country does is keep on kickin' them down

Lord, it's a damn shame what the world's gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is

Livin' in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control

And they don't think you know, but I know that you do

Agreed, it is enjoyable to watch. These dumb fuckers don't think they have to INVENT shit like phones or computers, or the internet or rockets...they actually think they can summon up parity through some press conferences while they do the same corrupt, shitty, short-sighted, IP thievery they always do.

Watching this fall apart will be funny. Someday they'll learn to push humanity forward if they want to be big shots. Right now, they're like, "We're big boys now. Mommy said so"
