You don't understand all of these cancer diagnoses are actually a good thing. For one thing people are living longer than ever and eventually everyone gets cancer, so it's actually an indication of how great our medical system is. Everyone is just living so long that they're all getting cancer. Another thing is that thanks to scientific advancements our detection methods are better and earlier than ever so we're catching a lot more instances of cancer where as before people would have just been dropping dead. If you notice a lot of people around you getting cancer, it's just because things are better than ever.
