Consider this, /biz/:

The world is going worse with all the wars, diseases, tech unemployment, etc. Governments have no idea how to deal with it. A real (direct) democracy makes sense, but not for politicians.

But having a different system is virtually impossible now!!. That would require some team wanting to build it, and a community strong enough to make it survive.

Well, SHIB has both.

So to me, the announcement made by the team about making the Shibarmy the first "digital nation" is groundbreaking. But all this means nothing without real money, right?
Part of the proposition includes a Shibarmy treasury. And they will have a complex voting system using all the current tokens they have.
Maybe SHIB will not be the first succesful digital nation, but the concept is really interesting.

Also, I'm not particularly bullish for the MV (i think it needs a decade to become important), but having the a space in the Metaverse will make this "Digital country" experience much more interesting for people. Extremely cheap transactions will allow people to interact without spending small fortunes.

So, keep an eye on what they do, I am sure it will influence a lot of future projects, because, government is management, and people that wants to manage themselves (even if it is only a common treasury), they will have a space, and more importantly, a treasury over what they can vote and control.

The whole concept is interesting, but first they need to kick out greedy devs and anonymous individuals closely associated with SHIB. Shytoshi did that one time (November 22), but still, some of them are engaging in PnD schemes. Secondly, to create this kind of utopia, devs need to configure autonomous reactions among all protocols to keep it decentralized and only intervene in emergency situations later on.
