Where do I get actual economic/financial advice?
I'm thinking of buying a 7500 sq.ft. plot to build my house and some separate rooms for a b&b, and I wonder if it'd be a good or bad idea with the numbers I have (it wouldn't be much of a money maker, I'd recover everything in like 20 years, but at least it'd be my house) vs other investment options I've seen (reselling cars, buying big land to install solar panels, etc.) while renting.

Recovering home building costs in 20 years is a 5% capitalization rate, you'd rather buy treasuries at the current interest rate instead.

... Is what someone who went to college would tell you. Fuck it man all in LINK

I also want to know

/biz/ is filled with dumb college kids crypto bagholders, trying to promote their shitcoin bags

Wall Street bets was the best, but after GME is filled with dumb woke, anti capitalistic children and dog walkers. Now it's worse than Biz/

Other reditt subreditts are always very bland and vanilla, with heavy censorship and sprinkled with wokism and dumb kids

Actually... That's not that bad after all, or is it? I didn't even consider inflation in my calculatoin in the future, so recovery might come even earlier
On the other hand, there are tons of places like this where I live, so, hmm...

Honest advice? Talk to your private financial advisor. One who has preferably been in the trade for 10 years and has word of mouth marketing because he's just so good. You won't get good tailored to you suggestions unless you pay for their service. It's one way I live stress free.

>protip: avoid women "advisors".

I remember a women advisor told me at 21 to not worry about my 401k and to let her do everything. At that point I made it my goal to learn everything about investing cause if she was that confident then I could do it myself 100x better.

Reselling cars for a profit is a meme, unless you already own 30 broken down cars in your backyard like a lot of redneck family's because they buy american brands that last 4 years.
Just buy property & put a real small house on it, anon. Learn to grow vegetables & raise some goats/other small livestock.

Is 7500 square feet enough for that?
