From the last thread because I think it needs to be repeated:
They've never failed to cellar box a company before. The whole point of cellar boxing a company is to short it to death with the intent on NEVER closing those shorts. This position cannot be closed. They've been so deep underwater all this time there is nothing that can free them unless the company goes bankrupt and the stock price goes to zero. Continuing to short the company and kicking the can is the only option they have until their algo can't manage things and they are forced to capitulate.

Yeah you don’t actually understand this. The simplest answer is that it was literally always impossible to close and when they discovered that they turned off the buy button and and pretended that they closed. 1) People were still buying shares during the runup before buying was removed, so not all buying was closing shorts
2) There were plenty of people who bought shares before 2021 that are still currently holding those shares

Again, the naked short sellers had zero intention of closing their shorts. They've been stubbornly kicking this can because they are hellbent on completing the cellar boxing, despite it not being possible. The simplest answer is they didn't buy back any shares but instead doubled down on their shorting because they thought they could shake off retail.

>> No.55894237

For the one millionth time, why would they not want it to happen? The tax windfall alone would make it worth it. Even not caring about GME at all if you study finance and economics you know that ever since we started trading paper dollars on a fiat system a crash or correction is necessary on a regular basis so it can continue the exponential growth which is both necessitated by and caused by modern monetary theory. About every twenty years there's a vehicle through which you can multiply your money many times over because it's the same vehicle others are using for the same purpose which is what makes it valuable. This time it's shares of a naked shorted company, last time it was shorting the housing market, and if you go back far enough the fucking federal reserve did the same bullshit confiscating all gold in the US over hardly any amount.

This shit isn't a bug, it's a feature. GME won't be the only thing that pops either it's just going to be the biggest green dildo.

There's been 6.5 billion shares traded of GME since 2021 and that's counting from the beginning of the year, not starting at the sneeze. Three billion of those shares were traded in ATS/dark pools at that and those are just blatantly not real shares.

They don't care about doing the smart thing. Or the just thing. Or whatever. They simply don't care. The people at the top of these things are less than 15 years from sleeping in a coffin. A good number of them have eaten their young, with their children having succumb to disease or hedonism or sloth. They have no legacy, which is all that would drive them at this point other than spite, or the waning impetus for self-preservation. So any energy they have, it's put towards keeping the wheels running as they always have; change, even good change, is complete anathema. They listen to the usual voices whispering in their ears, telling them to take the usual cruel and cynical action in order to get the usual outcomes, and they won't stop until the ground collapses from under them.

Consider Biden. He's geriatric, his good son is dead, his other son is a disgrace who's about to go to jail, and his daughter is doing fine (but he's a misogynist so *shrug*). He doesn't fucking care. He's pushing a proxy war with Russia because that's been the normal for most of his political life. He's fucking the young and left because that's been the normal for most of his political life. He's jamming a wrench in the union gears and ignoring East Palestine and Maui and negotiating with the worst ghouls the establishment right can push forward because all that shit is par-for-the-course for his saggy old ass. And every single one of his peers acts the same way.

So that's why they're fighting. Because it would take changing the normal pattern of behavior to just sit back and take it and enjoy the rewards. It would require ignoring the voices in their ears and using their own critical faculties. It's not going to happen because they don't care.

I have a legitimate question about MOASS... What do you think will honestly happen with NYC? Am I right to think that 90% of it's functionality relies on old money and the stock market? If this is the case then MOASS should turn this place absolutely upside down, unless there is something I'm not seeing. I'm sure most everyone in here wouldn't mind seeing that happen since everyone wants to move innawoods after MOASS, but I've always wanted to just chill in New York City because I love the ambiance... But I don't think this is feasible anymore if the NYSE disintegrates into nothing.

Firstly that's bullshit.

My own DD (and many others believe this too) told me that the MAJORITY of short positions are held by Citadel Securities. They fucked up and didn't see an event like Jan 2021 happening or even possible. Because their algo's are set to execute retail orders no matter what (PFOF) they 'accidentally' or 'unintentionally' naked short sold countless millions of GME shares to the MILLIONS of retail buyers.

Everyone likes to shit on kenny and citadel but they don't really know WHY they suddenly became so short on this. The above is my reason. Ofcourse, there are others players who are short too, but I think citadel definately has one of the biggest short positions (whether intentional or not is another story)

To answer your question though...

Fear. They've already shown fear. Its too late. turning off buy button. The flash crash and immediate 'breaking news' on CNBC. Jim telling people to sell and 'dont go for the home run'. Forget Gamestop. constantly meltdowns and attacks against GME and RC. etc.

But 180,000 people in Wall Street who make each make over $400,000 annually suddenly evaporating will definitely put an incredibly large dent into the fabric of the place. They pay the working class to sling their drinks, walk their dogs, cook their food, drive them around etc... That place only works the way it does due to how much of a bubble that place is. This is a very out-of-touch Manhattanite glowie view. Yes, a bubble, but much smaller than you seem to think. Like I said, most New Yorkers don't even make contact with it. It's not quite the economic engine of a trickle-down society, as you seem to be describing, either. The vast majority of that money travels above their head, never touch the ground; the capital that affects the average New Yorker's life is more of a function of its location along the NE corridor; that is to say, a function of its pronounced population density within a highly dense geographic region. The elite leaving and property values coming back down to earth would actually be a bit of a relief for people. The main danger is the NYPD and utilities workers making things difficult.

Yeah that's a badass turboprop but I want a no-shit jet. Buddy of mine is working on his pilot license to do commercial shit, if we wagmi any time soon I'd buy an SF50 to use when I feel like it and contract with him to do charter flights to pay for it.

I mainly want to WAGMI so I don't have to beg for grant money ever again (professional biofag)

You'd basically be doing charter for fun at that point. Don't get into chartering so quickly, just work on getting enough hours until you're as comfortable flying as you are pulling your car out of your driveway. You could set up so many forms of creating passive income to offset your purchases without relying on contracting flights to pay for costs... Don't forget that you're a billionaire. YOU. ARE. A. BILLIONAIRE.

With the move to digital gaming, the OBVIOUS hole in the market for Gamestop is this
>zoomers want gaming PCs (want to be streamers, etc)
>zoomers can't into PC building
>zoomers are familiar with Build-a-Bear workshop
It sounds pretty obvious. You employ some /g/entlemen who only talk about PC building all day anyway and let them help zoomers build PCs for a fee. Imagine you walk in and walk out with a PC in like 2 hours. I'd pay the fee. When I built my PC I bought a second fan for $250 because I didn't know my CPU came with one. If there was a $100 fee on top of all the PC parts GameStop walks away with a pretty penny and I'd still saves money. Just keep everything in a 1 ton safe and only unlock it with a purchase or build. Kids can learn how to build PCs too by watching.
Imagine you walk in, get asked what you need your PC for (coding, gaming, crypto, music, etc), they tell you what parts are most important, you select parts, the guy makes sure the parts are compatible, puts it together, installs the software you want (also purchased in the store), boots it up and does a health check, then you walk out with a PC (+ accessories).

The SF50 is actually very inefficient compared to a good turboprop and it will get held back by weather. The Celera 1000L would be one we should ALL look at when it comes out. But right now Pilatus or King Air would do you right with a turboprop. Supply for goods at this caliber is going to be interesting post MOASS. My hope is that these industrys expand and costs actually go down with larger production but that pay take some time.

Not the worst idea, but you have to pay that /g/entleman to sit on his ass for 95% of his shifts. They really need to just make sure you can order most parts online. I've tried to get multiple parts from the GameStop website in the last two years and they've been out every single time, most of the time they don't even have it in a store near me and there are like fifteen. I really wish they'd just focus on the online and close most of the brick and mortar stores, then finish up whatever they're planning to do with the NFT marketplace. I have to believe they had better plans than selling bored apes. Then maybe make a push into esports, it's really the only way the company will survive long term, physical game sales are getting to be a smaller and smaller share of the market.

Up to a point. There were some very harsh words about practitioners of occult magic and human sacrifice, pretty much explicitly damns them and even considers their lineage and connection to God as permanently and irrevocably severed. Even if Leviticus is Old Testament and therefore pre-Christian, it's still one of the earliest commandments given to the Israelites.

I'm just going to chime in on this one, human sacrifice was never part of the tenets. That's apostasy. They made burnt offerings of dead animals before the time of Christ, but human sacrifice, specifically burning, was always listed as an abomination and a particularly egregious one at that because it was a canaanite practice in the local region.
>You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
>And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin
>They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire -—something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind. So beware, the days are coming
>You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.
>Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together. When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” --- “Here I am,” he replied. “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him.
Now all of this is particularly interesting when you consider that a certain historical event is literally called 'burnt offerings', which would make that human sacrifice.

Which one are you guys getting and why? BRB going to ask Chat GPT which one I should get. My 2 big factors are reliability and relatively low operating costs, I'm not too concerned with operating costs because maybe my investments will cover it.

Go and play GTA instead loser. That’s the only plane you’ll ever get to fly.

Hey Rimjabi

If they never have to close, there would never be short squeezes.

According to you, they closed in Jan 2021, so you just admitted they did have to close. (we all know they didnt really close).

but lets take your argument that they did close. Why? Why did they cover in Jan 2021 when GME DIDNT have a bil cash, DIDNT have millions of holders, DIDNT have any shares DRS, DIDNT have the current team.

Hedgies fucked bro, and kek at your crypto bags

Kenny's in a tough position, him being long AMC worked for a while as he was able to maniulate the price to follow GME and use it as collateral.

But now he has a tough decision to make, because Adam Enron can start diluting again.

So he's either gotta bankroll AMC and waste billions financing them by buying their shares, or he's gotta stop the AMC price manipulation and let it dump to what it should be, 0.

But then he has no collateral for his GME shorts.

he's in between a rock and a hard place.
