Anyway here is part of the equipment I use when I go silver hunting. The loop cost about €25, the scale €35 and goes up to 100 g, made especially for coins. Perhaps you can find second hand ones in local EBays

The three stamps after the crown look like blackletter font, the first two look like B and S, but the picture is blurry so I can't distinguish what the third is. I also can't tell what the three smaller imprints below are either.

If you have a strong neodymium magnet then check if it's magnetic, if it isn't then move the magnet just shy of direct contact and see if you feel resistance. If you do it doesn't guarantee it's silver, as it could be plated copper, but it would rule out silver plated steel.

Do you know how it works?
Because it has to be trustless for it to work. My meaning is that, if the buyer pays first, then the seller could fuck the buyer over (I wouldn't, but that's besides the point), and if the seller sends the collection first, the buyer can just not pay for the package

The apartment I have in mind is close to usd$20k
The situation of the cash fund is fluent, as it depends on a sale of another apartment unit (of family, not under my control), which is currently under negotiations.
I estimate that I might need to add usd$2k to it

Any advice for me?

My current thought process is:
I think that for my situation the best would be to choose the apartment over the metals if I can trade one for the other.
-I don't own any properties rn
-I still live at home, so it gives me tons of options to work with in a life, after I have moved out
-It'd provided some monthly income to my family from rent
-Over time, I could use the rent to grow my collection back up slowly over time

IIRC 1 completed transaction = 1 shiny point. Kinda sucks if you don't have an old enough account. The only way around that until is if you were to complete five buying transactions. Which I guess wouldn't be impossible but you would blow some money on shipping costs trying to structure five cheap transactions.

Premiums for 1 gram is a ripoff. Buy 1 oz silver rounds or coins instead. But if you can get junk silver for cheaper, do that.
In the old days, stacking was just saving your pocket change. Now that's made out of less valuable metals, and you have to pay fees (premiums, shipping, etc.) to get the silver. Do everything you can to minimize those fees, and taxes as well.

-The rounds on the bottom left are 8 pieces of silver from a set commemorating historical events from Uruguay. They are about 22.xx grams each, and they are silver 900 / copper 100
-The rest of the rounds and bars are all 1oz of silver, in pieces from ,925 to .999; except the Kookabura, which is a 2oz piece
-The three small gold coins amount to around half an ounce

I'm going to have to set up the listing and what not. It's ok, make your own. I never purchased a complete set. Looking after cheap flatware. A spoon here, a fork there,..

I know it's probably not what you are looking after, but since i mainly focus on very old silverware, back then only 3 designs were common : uniplats, filets and coquilles (and queue-de-rat "rat's tail" to a much lesser extend).
So eventually even if you pick them up one by one, you end up with many similar-looking flatware eventually. Sure the royal hallmarks and eventual coats of arms/monograms differs, as well as the dimensions by few mm, but it's fine. And it maximize the sovl.
It's not like i've the choice anyway, a complete x24, 300 years old silverware set must be fetching a fortune, and that's if you manage to find one on sale at all.

But for recent sets, 2-3k seems like a lot to me. I know if bought new the prices are absurd, but on egay you should manage to find them for way cheaper if you look hard enough. I've seen many XXth c. complete sets (with cutlery boxes included) going for spot or below.

If you collect interesting things (stuff that has a limited amount in existence and is cool) you will find buyers and likely make a profit regardless of the price of silver at the time, if you collect the cheapest generics, you might not get much more than spot for them on resell
But you really shouldn't put more in than you can horde, this is a long term safe store of value, if you are selling it that means that you are in dire times

My brother in Chrits, it's who wrote down the Bible formally that protestants all drive from.

The Douay–Rheims Bible, also known as the Douay–Rheims Version, Rheims–Douai Bible or Douai Bible, and abbreviated as D–R, DRB, and DRV, is a translation of the Bible from the Latin Vulgate into English made by members of the English College, Douai, in the service of the Catholic Church

The fractional premiums are high everywhere but they have 1/2oz $3.58 over and 1/4oz $6.36 over.

The water has to be as hot as possible.
Ultimately, a lot of the dark stuff on circulated coinage is not sulfur - it's all sorts of grime and oils. Removing tarnish can expose an underlying yellow sheen on the surface that cannot be removed, and then the coin is ruined for numismatic value.
Cleaning is not for the faint-hearted.

I will do today’s readings later today. I’ll use a more traditional translation as well later. Turns out there are patricians amongst us. I was just trying to use a basic translation for people because I know some people have trouble with the more traditional language (my personal favourite is Douay-Rheims, but KJV is absolutely beautiful, as well)
I also try and show different interesting coins or rounds each day for the daily reading, since I have a ton of different types of coins and want to keep it fresh :) if anyone is unhappy with it or doesnt like it I apologize! I’m just trying to be a fren in an unfrenly world
Very nice picture fren! I sometimes have to take a screenshot of my pictures and post those so it doesn’t put them in australian mode. Mine flip vertically for some reason sometimes. Very strenge

First, we are not brothers in Christ because you are not even saved.
The doodoo reaming Bible is just a corrupt offshoot of a corrupt church that worships Satan instead of the God of the Bible.
Second, I am not a prot. I am a Christian. Which is something catholics don't even claim to be. You ask any idol-worshipping papist if they are Christian and 99% of the time they will correct you and say "no, I'm catholic".
Finally, the vulgate is not even what the KJV is translated from you illiterate dunce. The KJV comes from the Textus receptus, or the conglomeration of texts that have been received and passed down since the time of the apostles in the case of the New Testament, and even further back in regards to the Old Testament.

since you can't even bother to do the basic research on something you are trying to debate, here's something for free, and I hope you actually will believe it:
We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Because of that, we all deserve to die and go to hell, not because God hates us, but because of His perfection and sinless nature, He cannot allow sin around Himself.
God actually loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, the Word of God in the flesh to earth to save and redeem mankind. He lived a sinless life and was sacrificed knowing that He would pay for the sins of the world; past, present and future.
Anyone can accept that free gift by believing that. But if you believe that there is something beyond that you need to do to gain or keep salvation, you are spitting on the sacrifice that was made and putting your good deeds as equal to Christ's finished work on the cross. You will NOT go to heaven, you will NOT redeem and you instead will do the needful in hell if you do not put your trust in Christ alone, and keep all your so-called 'good' works out of it.

Get saved and get out of the catholic "church" before you ride your rosary beads straight to hell.

And to know the Bible is to become Christian.
Its sad to see that catholics can't even trust what God is trying to tell them without running back to man's words.
Don't try to act like some vicar of peace when you are truly just a wolf in sheep's clothing trying to lead men astray.
1Corinthians2: 13-14:
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

No need to pray. God doesn't listen to the prayers of the unbelievers. How about I pray for you instead?

Orthodoxy is the pretty much the same as catholicism, just with some minor tweaks. They can out of the same vein where they insisted the church and its leaders were more important than the actual Word of God.
Not that those are not important aspects, but but they flipped everything backwards, putting man's teaching and man's creations above God's.
Thats why those false institutions set up idols and altars, even though God said not to do that ever in both the Old and New Testaments.
Thats also why they try to get people too look on the outward appearance and be in awe of that, while keeping people within those religions from reading the Bible on their own without having real life priests explain what they want you to believe. also they can't understand the Biblical truths inside the Bible, so they rely on "church fathers" and "saints" to provide supplementary information and explain things through deliberate misreading of scripture.
The best example of this is the whole "good works" doctrine. They take one verse out of context (James 2:20) and just continuously parrot "but faith without works is dead!" without any understanding that James is talking to people who are already saved, and explains that this is not about salvation. Instead it is speaking on how people cannot see your level of faith by looking from the outside in. Only God can see the inner workings of man. So to show to OTHER people that you are a saved individual, you should perform good works that help others, otherwise your faith doesnt do anyone any good. It has NOTHING to do with salvation though which is best explained in Romans 4:6
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
and 1 Corinthians 3: 14-15
"14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

Dude, those barrels are awesome. I've never seen anything like them for sale at homebrew shops, where might an ameriburger obtain them, what volumes can we expect and what is a good price? I used to brew beer and mead a lot about a decade ago, don't miss the beer much but my mead was magnificent and I'd like to make some more. Thanks for any info fren.

If you mean that the first BRICS meeting will not by itself cause some massive shift in world markets, that is probably right. If you mean that half the world actively, openly, and credibly challenging the global dominance of the USD for the first time in 75 years will be without any significant effect in a few years, I think that is wrong.

It will be a nothing burger in the sense that nothing will change immediately. Retards seem to think that hand shakes between political leaders will instantly change the currency in our pockets. All anyone should care about is seeing the formal agreement between these nations to start building one to replace the USD. If that doesn't happen, then we will have to wait until next year to see if it will happen then.
