definitely not free, teams are pissed off bad as this year they've ramped up fees a lot
in terms of the issue here: as ethereum is so congested, the deviation threshold is set to 1.5% (or after a set period of time) as otherwise the gas costs would be too onerous
this dev is arguing that this safety check could be removed to bring more profit which is on them ultimately, it's a tradeoff of safety (exploit, manipulation) vs money
