Not a single thread in the catalog. Off the top 100 coins. Link threads not even hitting 50 posts. Trending down after another whale pump and dump. Will the remaining delusional linkies just sell those heavy ass bags? Seriously LMAO it's pathetic. Time to market sell and jump on a real moon mission, linkies.

Greed has made disaster in crypto. There are coins beyond that you know. With fundamentals and actual use cases.

I find it funny that there are people in crypto that doesn't want LINK to be a success, when it would benefit all crypto. You know what it would mean that companies could use smart contracts for real life use cases in a safe, cheap and tamperproof way? NEO, ETH, and all smart contract platforms would be more useful than just creating shitcoins.

How can anyone be against this? This is a moon ticket for the whole crypto market to finally reach multitrillion dollar valuations and, more importantly, real world use cases and stability.

It's actually disgusting watching everyone disregard Chainlink and chase empty pumps instead. This is the most innovative piece of technology that financial and insurance sectors have all been waiting for and it will actually revolutionize the world and strengthen every industry it touches.

Look at Vitalik, Roger, Justin, and Charlie constantly focusing on publicity stunts, shilling, and talking about the pricing of their coins. Sergey is actually the most reliable leader in the cryptosphere focusing only on his technology and development, no bullshitting with publicity stunts. Only honest answers to honest questions when he gets the chance.

I feel like I'm taking fucking crazy pills watching all of this play out. Etherscan shows that soon 95% of all available circulating LINK will be consolidated into less than 15,000 wallets and that continues to shrink as more people try to chase pumps, they're being shaken into stronger hands. As soon as Sergey's saved up LINK is finally handed over to institutions we'll see the price jump by increments of dollars and it'll be way too for most people by then. This is so fucking ridiculous and scary in showing how stupid most of /biz/ actually is.

Basically any contract can be made with the link payment on time of deliver(trigger?) of the contract, and since the contract will need CL data its more likely they will build contracts on their network (CL's) and input any other coin as variables on the algo. With the previously accepted LINk payment for a succesful contract realization.

Might be wrong though, but basically its all about those oracles, other projects like zep will willingly integrate CL's oracles into their OS and its just as good.

LINK would also transfer currencies for banks cheaply, and without forcing banks to migrate their systems to use a ledger as with Ripple. They could use their own chains and just extend current systems with them using LINK.

SWIFT is only one small piece of why LINK is going to be a top 5 coin. Every industry, and every dApp will benefit from Chainlink's tech, and it being blockchain agnostic ensures it can keep with the changing ecosystem. The zeppelin_os partnership ensures LINK will become ubiquitous by 2019. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It should be clear by now that Sergey is a show pony wheeled out to explain smart contracts, using his smartcontract.com domain name to somehow give relevance to his poorly spoken english. If he had any technical knowledge he would have already had success, he has being in the space before 2014 and its very worrying that all Sergey can produce is what is most likely a simply coded oracle solution that will be ripped off by the large institutions to create their own, PRIVATE version of Sergeys precious "oracle solver". Theres no way SWIFT is handing over the keys to their systems to some Russian upstart that managed to mine 500 BTC back in 2010 in his mothers basement who somehow thinks this warrants him CEO status.

I've also heard troubling reports back from those close to the Chainlink team that faith in the project is waning to all time lows, that 2 people simply isn't enought to thoroughly code a project worthy of SWIFT infastructure... the insider reports, apparently from a high-school friend of Steves who actually lurks 4chan have. The report from Steve's friend explains the stress and duress that Steve is under, forgive the format as it was written and reported back to us by one of our very own /bizraelis/ detail the exact decline of the Chainlink team professionalism and sanity...

in the corner with one hand and stonewalling investors in the slack with the other.
That’s why all his “updates” trying to hide the fact that this project is a complete
debacle are riddled with typos. A pile of unread resumes sit on the floor, drenched in
Big Mac sauce. Steve is the only one trying. He’s locked away in his moms basement
trying to learn GO. It’s such an obscure and asinine language that he can’t find
the documentation he needs. He’s about to snap. He keeps frantically calling Sergey.
Sergey only texts back, “new phone, who dis” and “32 million solves my oracle problem.”
Steve’ mom’s basement reeks of the marijuana Steve smokes to cope with the stress.
A thick haze from all the smoke lingers. All Steve can see are two faint lights.
One is the blue light emitting from his shitty 2010 dell inspiron laptop. Somehow
Sergey didn’t think they’d have money in the budget for him to get a new laptop.
The other is the glimmer of steel of his colt 45 revolver with his one way ticket out of his hell.

It's not looking good my friendos

Because my job is very low impact and very high return. Not keeping my job is akin to leaving a lot of money on the table.

That and I'm not confident I can make a reliable income. Most of my trading is aimed at maximizing my ETH, more than anything. Besides LINK -- I plan on that blowing up.

For short term trades I usually keep it at 15 min candles -- it really depends on what I'm looking for. 15 min gives a decent view of most markets in my experience. I'm no expert though, so take this with a grain of salt.

sorry to barrage you with questions but kinda rare you come across someone doing decent in here.

i appreciate your responses man. these are the slivers of info i come to /biz/ for. this and the shitposts, obv

No problem mate -- just watching some short term trades at the moment before I go to bed, getting stoned.

There's no "typical" for a trade, really -- it depends on how volatile and fluid the market is.

For instance, I'm currently in TRX. I was able to buy a dip and sell and rebuy within about a 30 min timeframe. I'm currently waiting for it to get a bit higher before I go to bed -- if it doesn't show signs of spiking (like it might), I'll probably set a sell order and go to bed -- or not. I don't have a ton invested, and I have faith it will at least go up within a week or two if nothing else.

Honestly in general, pick a high volume coin (sort the list by volume), look for coins that are down. Check recent trends, see if it looks like it's nearing a low by looking at the order book (aka order depth) -- is there a buy wall coming up or a sell wall or neither? If there's a buy wall, the volume is high, and it looks like it's near a dip...odds are it's going to go up at some point.

Factor in fees and aim for a 5% return on the conservative side, and just do this over and over. Start small.

The only way to really learn how to do it is to actually do it. You don't have to risk a lot. Some of my trades are large, but most small trades are ~1 ETH.

I got stoned and got a position in TRX too.

What a funny little coincidence.

Charts are the best while stoned. Appreciate the info you are giving anons, I'm gonna start using 15 min candles and see how it goes

solid man, really appreciate this.

been slowly figuring out my trading style and realize i like a bit more active trading compared to just hodling everything.

i assume the majority of your time is spent looking for coins that are showing signs of a setup versus browsing /biz/ for the hot new shilled shitcoin?

hodling has given me the best gains so far but i am looking to supplement like a lot of guys do.

i know you mentioned 15 and 30 min timeframes. are you actually buying one day and then selling the next, or are you completing a full trading cycle in one day?

The most important lessons, in general are:

1) Never ever ever buy at an ATH, unless you have deep knowledge of the tech and have a VERY good reason to believe it will moon. This will almost never happen.

2) NEVER EVER sell at a loss. Unless you're willing to pay that amount of money for your mistake and you're very impatient. Sometimes you just have to suck it up, but generally if you are patient enough you will come out ahead.

this for sure. i've been holding since october and have only added to my position since then.

yes it's tempting to sell to chase moons but i only invest in projects i believe in and i still believe in this one.
