It is infinitely worse to have $100k than $1k. $1k you can literally double, 100% returns in a weeks worth of wageslaving. If you lose it on a bad bet, so what just work a single week. $100k you only make 1% per week. It will take you 2 fucking years of your entire life just to get back to breakeven if you lose it. Realizing this, you become more cautious, limiting your capacity to hit big returns... thus trapping you in a state of eternal purgatory, where you are neither rich or poor but nonetheless unfulfilled. And as the time drags on and your returns prove utterly subpar, you slowly begin to realize that, while a lot closer than you were originally... you will never make it.

I had nearly 80k in 2021 lost it all, had a bunch of shit happen to me nearly died about 5x including multiple visits to the ER.
Got nearly 17k in 2022 lost it all because I lost my mind.

Got nearly 20k and thought I was better and made the same mistakes, now I'm contemplating ending my suffering because I don't think I'll ever even be able to get back half of what I ever had, I'm so demoralized and just read about how people are in "6 figure hell"
My life is literal hell and if you guys were in my shoes you would be running towards the nearest train within a day.

My portfolio ripped from 10k up to 800k in 2018 and it sat around 50k between 2019-2020, I kept waging the entire time, already back to 400k. Everyone has big losses sometimes, just keep accumulating, learn from your mistakes.
