Lads, was just looking at the Venezuelan Bolivar situation, remember about 2 years ago they knocked 6 digits off the currency? Well it went from around 7.5 billion bolivars for an ounce of Gold™ to 7.5 thousand bolivars, in only a year (late 22) it started to inflate again and has been inflating ever since and is at about 60k bolivars for an ounce of gold.

It just shows no matter what fuckery the cabal pull with their great reset, it wont be long until it starts crashing again.

Those are really nice-looking coins! I'd like to buy some of the old euro junk, but I'm not sure what their resale value really is. Most shops don't talk about this topic, but I found some infos on cdt.fr and their buyback is about 1 euro under spot for this 90% junk. So I'm not convinced it's worth it, unless you can also buy them under spot.

To an extent I guess but you're still just sitting on one little coin. The foundation of holding PM's these days is like being your own personal bank. If you need $30 then take a couple little coins from the silver stack. Whereas with gold, it holds value in the way that people would have 3 $100 bills in their safe, but you can't easily break it to buy bread or fucking whatever. They used to clip off pieces of gold and silver to buy things before. Think of it like how a well rounded wallet has a few $1 bills, some $5's and maybe a $20 while your $100 bills are in the shoebox under your bed to buy an Xbox or maybe just to hold onto.

>>55815462
Yes. Best to have half of your portfolio in silver, the other half in gold. That way, if one goes up, you buy the cheaper one, if the other goes up, you buy the cheaper one, but keep a preset ratio over years.
I also have other assets that get balanced to it. For example:
70% ETF
18% Bonds
2% Cash
5% Gold
5% Silver
Whichever goes down get's bought until the balance is restored.

>The foundation of holding PM's these days is like being your own personal bank. If you need $30 then take a couple little coins from the silver stack
If you need to sell silver for such small amounts of money, you should maybe first have an emergency fund.
>Whereas with gold, it holds value in the way that people would have 3 $100 bills in their safe, but you can't easily break it to buy bread or fucking whatever
That is the most stupid take i have heard yet. You don't sell gold or silver to buy bread in daily life. You have your income for that, and an emergency fund in case the car croaks. You never have to sell PMs until it's an investment decision or the end of the world.

Why do non-BRICS people always fail to understand that gold-backed currency is on a spectrum and that it's fluid. When the BRICSSA+40 community transitions to gold-backed in various forms, it will be stunning and brave. Screenshot this, but in 5 to 7 years, you'll see little kids in America telling their teachers they want to be gold backed too. Once we seed these ideas in the children, we win game over fiat chuds.

learn2code, but that was back in late 2020, lucky that i got in before the bubble. ppl here understood the way things were headed technology wise. most of the big stackers had tech jobs. saw it on reddit too. lot of online ppl in general are into tech.
not being materialistic was also a good thing i got from here. seems like the crowd is different from back when i was on here everyday 2-3 yrs ago tho, b/c i would tend to get more (you)s back then given my lore (not to be self indulgent but i think it's deserved imo) i would come on more often, but the vibe here is a bit different now. not that i dislike it though, it seems like ppl are more realistic vs the wall st silver hype and the stack rank memes, albeit that was a big motivation for me in stacking early on. trying to make it to pirate tier and then the next one etc.
i wonder how all of the old frens are doing, its a black pilled community. a lot of ppl seemed to move on to other platforms i guess. i was on silver 4chan discords for awhile, but it was the biggest group of losers i have ever encountered online. they were all poorfags living with parents that blamed all their problems on minorities. didnt help that it was a /pol/ tier group either.

don't get me wrong. i'm conservative like most in here and /pol/ provides good news/memes you wont find elsewhere, but the incel problem is awful. the /pol/ silver types think their lives will change from stacking coins out of their parents basements kek. most of them started stacking during WSS, and don't know a lick about finance

I've been posting here for a little over a year, and in that time, I've seen a handful of other lgbt stackers post semi consistanly, so it's not all seething incels. Here goes the tranny train again. Oh well…
Finally managed to get an hour of urban panning done. Recent floods showed me some interesting new spots. First one was occupied with some Arab youth watching Arab soap operas on his phone, second was a local guy having a beer but third one was free.

But is an issue like that really relevant to a farmer in Zambia, or would it be plausible that the intended message is that "the priests should not be asking you for money, and the house of god shouldn't be run like some stock exchange"?

Silver production has increased immensely since the 1900s, and silver's main use - coins and tableware - has diminished as well. Yes, electronics has offset a lot of the consumption, but not to a point where the old ratios still hold.

I can't speak for others, but I don't look at ratios. As silver is no longer a de facto standard metal for coinage, my reasoning is that its price is basically tied to its value as a commodity and no longer has a direct relationship with gold, which *is* used as money in the sense that countries exchange it in massive quantities as a way to pay debts, accumulate wealth, and give some backing to some currencies.

>the tables of the moneychangers] The Greek word signifies those who took a small coin (Hebr. Kolbon, Grk. κόλλυβος, perhaps a Phœnician word) as a fee for exchanging the money of the worshippers, who were required to pay in Hebrew coin. This exaction of the fee was itself unlawful (Lightfoot). And probably other dishonest practices were rife.
Haha, still defending the sale of indulgences, I see. They also maybe had parchment on their tables, or maybe a cup of wine too. But the core business that the supported was that of selling on-site sacrificial animals as the Temple was some drive-through.

I mean no offense, I really don't, but it's a Catholic website, and the Protestant Reformation did start over the sale of indulgences, which were THIS bullshit, and apparently, whoever wrote that article still feels the need to defend such a practice. In the Jerusalem Temple, too, they could have just sacrificed one sheep per day, once per week, and it'd have been just as good. Instead, they opened up some DIY salvation business. Imagine if you went to your house of worship today, and found that it had a $10 entrance fee, and they also sold overpriced popcorn. However infuriated you feel imagining such a thing: it must've been on that level of infuriating in the Temple too.
There's nothing wrong with silver as a currency, it's a good-enough technology and a good hedge against the system fucking up (again), but the point wasn't so much that they were using silver specifically, or that they charged a premium over spot (in modern terms). Still, it's a bit rich to put a scene of Jesus chasing the people who were using silver out of the Temple ON THE SILVER. It's like that Black Mirror S01E02, where the rebel is turned into a shill for establishment, even while physical silver, which is a harder money than fiat, is an attempt at rebellion against the system.

Hmmm, I could tell you, but half my posts are disappearing for some reason. I'm not getting banned or warned, so this isn't a complaint against 4chan moderation. Rather, this might be something related to the globalist bankers who manipulate the metals markets or even something supernatural afoot. If they can control such things, then surely removing my 4channel posts are within their powers. Honestly it has me feeling extremely bullish. What better sign that we're right over target.

brick and mortar stores have expenses and transaction costs on the buy-sell sides. them paying out low premiums is just part and parcel of running a business with expenses. if you want to capture the premium you have to sell it for the extra premium yourself.

yes, 30% premium. even though that's a premium stuff like that is more motivating for me to save money, make money, stack etc. Gold coins and bars in the safe give me zero joy. I also find it easier to hold onto stuff that I emotionally enjoy because I don't want to sell it. gold coins and bars are to easy to cash in because there's no enjoyment to having them.

still, I figure once I die the first paramedic in my house will steal all of this stuff so it won't matter anyway.

I think if you are holding gold as a hedge against your currency the premium in the end is irrelevant. You either have the gold and get through the crisis or you don't. Do you think turks or Lebanese or Venezuelans that went through hyper inflation care that they paid a 25% premium on gold items that they enjoyed for years rather than low premium bullion? in the end they had the gold and got through the crisis while their less prepared friends lived in misery.

I mean, there's not an unlimited amount of nice stuff that is low premium. it just pops up now and then but when it does you can get stuff that is way more enjoyable than gold coins and bars.

I saw pic related on the site of a scrap gold shop. It's an 18k mauboussin (a dead luxury watch brand) with a diamond bezel and Swiss ETA movement. 100% the movement could be serviced and fixed because there's no shortage of ETA watch parts.

if I could have gotten it for spot I would have bought it and saved it from the smelter.

basically anywhere you could conceivably buy stuff. lots online, lots from local cash for gold shops, personal sales, online classifieds locally, etc. the key to any good deals is just having the cash ready when the opportunity presents itself.

there was one of pic related from a second hand watch dealer locally a while ago. It's a jumbo size Ebel Tarawa (similar to pic related) with 18k gold and diamonds and ETA movement. It had around 170g of 18k and since the seller didn't understand gold it was selling for $6000 CAD. I would have bought it but I didn't have the cash on me. That's why I try to sell anything I don't personally love so that I have cash ready when the deals are available.
