You are making assumptions that Bitcoin has to go up because XRP will go up but that is not correct.

The price of bitcoin has nothing to do with the price of XRP when its utility kicks in.

Marketcap of XRP and Bitcoin have no relation to each other whatsoever.

The markets that Bitcoin and XRP are going after are not the same at all. Bitcoin is a store of value and so far only a couple trillion dollars have been stored in bitcoin. But XRP is going after the cross border market and the 27 trillion dollars that is in the nostro vostro accounts that Swift uses to settle payments.

That 27 trillion is the money that XRP can capture and bitcoin is not going to get any of it because bitcoin is too slow, the fees are too high and it uses too much energy.

Bitcoin is in no way competition for XRP.

Cross border is not all the money, derivatives is.

Cross border only has 27 trillion market compared to the 2 quadrillion+ derivative market.

Even if XRP only captured 10% of the Derivative market it would still put it over 1k per coin.

But we are not going for derivatives first, we are going for crossborder and if we got the 27 trillion we would be at almost 600 bucks.
