It's outrageously bullish. The bullion banks (JPM, BoA, etc.) mostly just trade it back and forth, along with investors/speculators who either roll over their contracts forever or cash out in dollars because they don't actually want to take delivery on physical silver. It's quite the hassle to get it out, you see. They don't ship it, you have to get an armored truck to NYC and then deal with transport and storage and all that. There's still healthy demand for it, at least to the point their vaults get drained but that's how they suppress prices with short selling.

the reason this isnt enough of an answer for me is because what you said can apply to many investment classes. i believe that there is more to what makes silver important, and that there are mant potential catalysts for major price action in coming years. i see a lot of this boomer attitude of "oh well yknow its real money and i hope to pass it on to my kids" and for me im buying this as a bet against the big financial institutions. i think it can cause life changing gains in the next few years.

The big dick move that offsets all of that is the US military complex. We're the world bullies in that sense and I'm concerned about it fucking up the world's non static economy. I get where you're coming from if you want to profit off of this, and people do. But even if someone has 100 oz and silver goes to $200 an oz it's not really a massive gain like Bitcoin was or some shit. The reality has to set it for why exactly we own this stuff. The US would drop its imperial ambitions if it has to deal with civil war. All those gibs being pulled would cause looting and burning on a level never seen before. That would severely damage the productive class and make things even worse for the state. The only silver lining is that it will be metropolitan cities that will suffer the most. The liberal drones getting a dose of reality isn't a bad thing in the long run. They will quickly learn that their utopian ideas no longer fly in a community ripping itself apart.

And earlier than history - prehistory. Humans have valued gold and silver since an early protohomind ancestor picked up a shiny rock and liked what he saw. And when he got back to the tribal camp, he realized the women wanted it, and were more willing to fuck him. As long as this dynamic remains at the heart of Human nature, PMs will always be valued.

In order of personal preference:
coins
rounds
bars

Coins are recognizable and easily liquidated anywhere.
Rounds are not exactly scrap, but they're just raw silver (same with coins, but it's the recognizability you're paying for).
Bars are only for getting weight and you're not trading them casually.

If you're new, I would say rounds are the best way to start. I'm like 60/40 on rounds to coins. I could have more weight if I went with rounds, but it's not a big deal to me. I like that I can trade my coins anywhere; I don't have to convince anyone "they're real." They're freaking coins with government seals on them.

The reason I'm going mostly with rounds is because I plan on flipping them if and when the gold to silver ratio closes. I don't want to flip coins to get gold. I want to flip cheapies to get gold. That's assuming my plan works out. Which I think it will.

I offer my reasoning not to tell neophytes what to do, rather I want them to know some of the thought process behind getting one thing over another. It's not entirely random. And it's specific to my personal goals. Any new stacker needs to sit and think about what they're doing and why. That, I think, comes in time. It took me a couple years to figure out exactly what I wanted to do. My stack would look a little different now if I knew back then what I know now. It's not even a big deal, though, because now I can modify my purchases so that my stack will reflect my goals. Have too much of one thing? Fine. Just stack what you really want exclusively for a while and it will balance out later. It's not a problem. You still have something that's hard for bankers to devalue.

No matter what, always remember the following:
ALWAYS.
BE.
STACKING.

I disagree on two points:

>First
Silver is just a general hedge. Its value is less dependent on fiat valuation. It moves relatively independently of fiat. I heard someone say that physical silver between 2019 and 2022 ended up outpacing the stock market by a little bit. Not impressive, but the gains are what I'm focusing on. I'm focusing on the fact that my stack didn't lose me value, as where stocks lost value as did fiat. Seen only from the standpoint of wealth retention, it seems like silver is hard to beat (gold is arguably way better, but that's a different topic entirely).

>Second
I've only been stacking for a couple years, so I'm no expert. I think the "silver squeeze" of 2020 was irrelevant. If there's a REAL squeeze it will be a financial crisis that gets normies to snap up whatever PMs they can get their hands on. I don't think it'll be autistic rock collectors who force a real squeeze. I think it will be an imploding economy.

If I were to lay out my thinking (for all to take apart and laugh at), this is it: the banking system is inherently unstable. Bankers are feverishly trying to patch up a sinking ship. I don't know what will happen or why, other than that unstable systems fall apart sooner or later. Banking is a confidence game and people are losing confidence in what they're seeing. C.B.D.C's, fancy new fiats, credit ratings are just theatrics and more people are seeing through it daily.

I believe trade will still happen, but trust in bankers is waning. People will rethink what they hold. Gold and silver are real. Stonks and fiat are not. I think people will hold fiat/CBDCs for daily purchases. Value will be stored in PM's and property.

I think we temporarily go Wiemar. And then PMs will have a brief, but huge, rush.

I could be wrong, though.

>> No.55802562

>>55802259
Yes, YAGMI.
Now go and pick up some more PM's to compliment your current PM's.
And you know what would go well with those new PM's you just got?
A few more ounces of PM's.

think of it like a mexican onza if you've seen one of those. they're listed as more than a troy oz on the coin, but are an ounce (slightly under). they're .925, so to bring them up to a full pure ounce, they're going to be heavier than .9999 coins.

krug and maple are both an ounce. krug isn't as pure. it will be heavier than the maple but still have an ounce of gold.

If you're rubbing it back and forth along the coin with elbow grease involved you will 100% give the coin hairline-width scratches.
MS70 cleaner's intended use is to either do a soft dabbing application motion with the q tip or a very delicate rolling motion.

Do they ship to Germany?
The cheapest Britannia 1oz silver 2023 in Germany is 27.30€, theirs is 24.59€!
Have i missed something, like they didn't include VAT?

Depends. If you are able to verify the authenticity of the silver, say it's newer Britannia or Maple Leaf, then sure.
If you can't, then no.

If you want to buy coins, you can use a magnet (a rare earth magnet will almost "stick" to it because of magnetic eddies in the material), the sound (deep clang), the weight (you need a precise instrument for it) and the dimensions (again, precision is king).

Maple Leaf has a laser etched leaf with the year in it as well has hard to do background lines, Britannia has the "colored" shield, background wave illusion and some other visible security features.

Depends - define what "cities" are, and
how far is "two cities away", and
how much is saved by doing so (consider gas and time)?
Don't be a cuck to price alone.
