Bullshit, I got really bored during the bear market and would routinely go to one of my banks it withdraw 10 grand in various denominations to then sift through to try and find rare bills or misprints. If you find it, look around, you need to make sure there's no cameras, no kind of surveillance. Nobody must see you.

Thinking about it, I think a reasonable way for large scale money laundering is to smuggle the cash into China, transport it across the Russian boarder and set up a large scale crypto farm in rural Russia using the cash with a few bribes.
