Another day. I couldn't wait to bag. The urge overcame me. So I took out a cash advance on my new zero interest card. Bagged all my stocks on my list. Will pay it off on the 15th. Good thing I did. DIS flew past my buy limit during after hours due to earnings. Read Vol 10 of My Friend's Sister is into me. Going by how things were left in this one I think things will finally start to enter the end game. It's time. After 10 volumes and the reader finally learning who the main dude wants to be with and the other stuff its time close the deal on it. Otherwise the series ends up being a farce and you've wasted 10+ volumes for no pay off. Hopefully in vol 11 (which sucks that it won't happen till next year so fucking 6 months of waiting) the main dude will finally fucking confess to the girl and get it over with.

Nobody is going to gamble through ESPN because tons of other companies do it way better, plus ESPN is shit to begin with. Penn needs more states to legalize gambling and being tied to the frat dudes at barstool wasn't helping. Disney had enough pull to get the ball rolling (they could single handedly get California to legalize it)especially if they can capture more of the states that get onboarded by being the only ones to do gambling in a safe manner. ESPN BET is going to be fucking huge.

>> No.55794475

>>55794450
It's not, anyone that sports bets regularly either uses fanduel or draftkings and has been for a while. The only way ESPN could crush them is by offering outrageous promo offers and run at a deficit for awhile to get people to make the switch, which they don't have the time or money to do that. I'd be shocked if they are still around on 5 years. ESPN is probably just going to end up a streaming service which nobody is going to pay for ESPN. It's trash content anymore.

It is going to be hard to get a foothold into the gambling business when, like you mentioned, anon, Fanduel and Draftkings exist and control the market overwhelmingly. More states are opening up to gambling, and I think that is the most important time to push your service. It will be damn near impossible to get people to switch to ESPN betting when they already have a platform they gamble from and know well. My state recently allowed online gambling at the beginning of this year, and the amount of ads being pushed everywhere by Draftkings was insane. They would have to entice people with a lot of benefits to switch or use one of their services as a bundle plan. Sort of how Verizon recently partnered with Disney+.

The sentiment seems to be shifting. Oil is rising dangerously. Even Natgas is attempting to breakout. Other commodities (orange juice, cocoa, sugar, coffee (robusta), beef) have gone crazy. There might be another hike if not more. The rates will stay high, otherwise Oil will EXPLODE. So yeah, risky assets will lose attractiveness and rich people might take their money out and put it into safer assets.

US got downgraded, several banks got downgraded, others are on watchlist.
Japan will probably start hiking end of the year. They hinted at that and maybe they will realize, hopefully sooner than later, that their retarded "wait it out"-game won't work.

Uh, I think this whole dump is fake and gay. Big Money has to get in somehow. They know the market isn't expecting huge inflation increases. We can adjust to credit downgrades if it means we're averting recession. Treasury does not need to go up further than 4%. Unless tomorrow's CPI is a blowout increase. As far as CPI its pretty clear based on today theres a lot of unease building and if CPI prints to the upside and shows inflation hasn't decelerated as fast as fed hoped (if it normalizes to 6% that means fed policy is not restrictive) This has a pretty high chance of likely since we'll be rolling off a 0% print from last year for the next two months and oil prices have normalized higher, and sticky CPI still running hot.

Latin is a language from Ancient Rome. This is fun. Latin now refers to all Latin languages, which are languages which originated from Portugal, Italy, and Spain, even Andorra. Latin America also now refers to the settling colonizers from these three countries (even France, which I didn't list, but which is also Latin based, and has a country in South America!)

You see, it's really quite interesting that we now refer to these Portuguese and Spanish women as Latin, or Latino, or Latina, respectively, (and not France or Italy?? Why are they not Latin?!) but regardless

When you say LATINA, you mean South America. I also don't think that US men call spanish women Latinas.
In Europe nobody says Latina to spanish or italian women. That term is definitely coined by the name of the contintent "Latinamerica". So women from this place are Latinas.

So are romanians also latinas by your new definition of that word? Or do they fall together with italian and french?

A Latineurope doesn't exist. Spanish will rather call themselves Iberros or whatever, since their peninsula is called Iberia. I'm sure they wouldn't even want to be called latins, cause then you'd mix them with SA.

Like I said >>55796160 some shit for my new apartment. I needed a step ladder because it's a loft style and the ceilings are very tall and I can't reach the top of my closet shelves (I'm 6'). The ladder was like $50. Also some ice trays and freezer safe bucket because this fridge doesn't have an ice maker... That was like $11 (I think I got ripped off). Some of those floor pads to put under furniture ($18), some shower curtain hooks ($12), a new phone charger cable ($13). Also some socks while I was there ($16). Also some snacks including a giant Kit Kat...
I also stopped at JACK on the way back for dinner, and had to wait like 10 minutes while they refilled the Dr. Pepper ($KDP)... and then the guy gave me literally 1 single solitary napkin.
Maybe this is why I don't like spending money. Everything is a fucking ripoff

BENQ is fine. I have an old one with full HD. But the white is BAD. Can't tell if it was like that from the start. Bought a 22 incher for second pc (small table) from LG and the white looks like white in comparison to the BenQ. Still, it did its service.

Ah, the Gold phoenix iiyama GB2888UHSU-B1, is an UHD TN monitor. I can't find a QHD-TN monitor. Expect maybe 27 inches, but what do I need 27 inches with QHD, it's the same as 24 with FullHD pixelwise.

Perfect would be a 24 incher with QHD or UHD with TN, but I think that doesn't even exist (UHD at least).

I'm short BMW. But I did it way too early. There certainly will be some blood soon, since the chinese are trying HARD to establish themselves, especially in EV (electric).

The question is, which EU/US carmaker will get wrecked in that war. Maybe I shouldn't have picked BMW. I'll hold now and get out as soon as I can and reallocate my money into shorting the DAX or the swedish index harder.

You might look into Stellantis, price is pretty high. They produce Chrysler, Fiat, Peugeot and other. The question essentially is... Will middle class cars die and only Premium (BMW, Mercedes, Porsche etc.) and low class survive? BMW currently is heavily banking on their premium, especially since China lacks premium brands currently. Li Auto is trying to become premium

Investments might grow there since OPEC is becoming more and more aggressive, but at the same time, SA will probably also demand higher prices since everything goes up and for some countries energy could be a huge part of their GDP, as for Venezuela I think (at least it was like that, I think)

Does anyone here has a position on KO?

I have been seeing lots of signs repeatedly of this brand which made me interested, but Idk if it makes sense to get into it

>Current price
$61.06
>Dividends
-Paid quarterly; 3.01% annual yield
-Period of 33 years for the yield to pay the principal, assuming 0% inflation in that period (lol)
>Other considerations
-Satanic cult brand, featuring a mark of the beast reference in its logo (666)
-Attempts to destroy humanity along other S&P500 brands
-It sells products that destroy the health of those who consume them
-I want to joke with normie family that whenever they buy Coca Cola a small portion of what they are paying goes to my pockets, for humoristic and ego reasons

How would you approach it?
Other companies offer higher yields, and as a top of the foodchain brand in its space, I don't see it reaching huge new heights. So I am wondering what trading strategy makes sense for this particular ticker
