Why is that obvious? I think trading games on an open marketplace makes sense but the challenge there is just integrating DRM so it only works if you own the hash. This right here. I think we are teetering on the edge of financial implosion or at the very least a massive shift in international monetary policy that will lower American standards of living for various reasons. You can't expect things to happen on a timeline that suits your lifespan so you do have to manage your investments for short, medium and long term. The system literally cannot allow asset prices to decrease because even something like commercial real estate declining in price could see several trillions worth of CMBS paper go up in flames and cause a cascade decline in insurance and banks and pensions. The system is basically enslaved to itself and the leverage it choked on. Knowing this is what gives me confidence to even dip my toe in the market.
Once you have a good chunk of GME DRSed, and you have a decent stack of silver/PMs then you are basically free to cozy up next to the masses and become part of the herd chasing basis points.
The best part about some of these dumb income stocks/blue chips is if you see GME dip down to $16 you can sell it all off and wait for the inevitable run up and above $25+. It gives you options that way.
The point is to never lose sight of the fact that we have mate-in-1. And if the hedgies want to flip the board then you are hedged with PMs. Everything else is easy street.
