In just under an hour /biz/ kick off their second match of this year's 4chan Summer Cup against /v/ tune in shortly in just under an hour's time to see today's opener holds for /biz/ in a must-win match to survive.

>What is this? Quick rundown?
The a live-managed, virtual football tournament with teams made up of users from the boards in the cup that has normally rans four times a year since 2011. Normally there are two 'babby cups' for low ranked teams and two 'elite cups' for the top ranked teams. Summer 23 is the third tournament of this year's divegrass season and the final elite cup of the year.

An elite cup team since Autumn 2019, last year's Winter Cup champions and on a start that has them in a win-or-die position to stay alive with a win needed against /v/ to stay in the elites after last week's defeat to /d/

Quick rundown on how things are standing after Week 1

/biz/ and /v/ both had a rough start to this cup's campaign but the match has some history as it's a rematch of last Summer's Ro16 that saw /v/ knock /biz/ out and go on the win the cup which /biz/ was hosting for the first time ever as the previous elite cup's reigning champions. There's some history here and both teams can relegate each other back to this autumn's next Babby Cup with a win depending on results elsewhere. It's also a chance for some revenge for last summer on /biz/'s part.
