The main difference here is that Solana is unironically having its own redemption arc even after FTX's collapse. In fact, SBF was the one holding them back imo.

Now they've used the current bear market to address some of their major problems. They have not gone down a single time this whole year, for example, and they're still one of the fastest L1 chains out there.
