I still believe a data driven world is far better than our current politically antagonistic world.
People can work to create more data points to inform immutable transparent systems that no one can fuck with and that anyone can watch a short video on to understand. if the data is not present, a new business opportunity can be instantly created to fill the gap and get more data on chain to make smarter choices. people adapt. they fill gaps all the time. awareness that gaps need to be filled like not drawing weather data from near airport tarmacs to fake climate change heat map data. Is this true? Why don't people react? Create incentives to get people to make new data points.

But what of value? Is value just numbers accumulated in a system as the world would tell us?
A system is valuable because it accrues numbers?
And who or what gives these numbers meaning?
The passage of meaningful information into a system gives it value. The system has value because it protects and collects and makes this information available to people or other systems that will make choices about the fate of limited resources.
We have limited resources. That remains unchanged. But we can always get more data on chain to make better decisions about how these resources are used. APIs exist sure but more than that we have to look at how information is generated and how it is put on chain. I think Chainlink does this quite well but it only works now with certain data types.
How do you spurn an industry towards truth when the money seems to be hellbent on increasing falsehoods?
