He's not turning twitter into anything, he's incorporating it into a wider group of services, exactly the same as what meta is trying to do. I think Elon wants to create an entire vertical economy via X as an alternative to existing systems. So he will probably create some sort of banking service (that markets itself on not being political or debanking people) and probably a crypto exchange integrated into it. It definitely will bring more people into crypto.
