I've always gotten on really well with women in the workplace and everywhere to be honest because I don't like sports and can talk about literally anything else.

I manage a restaurant.
There’s 3 managers including myself and one of the owner/operators who over sees but is never actually there.
1 of the managers is a woman, control freak, cunt, micro manager.
1 of the managers is a manlet dork who clings to the female manager for guidance
The owner operator is a manlet twink who is very passive aggressive and also a detail freak
So in essence the entire management team minus myself is an effeminate cast of nitpicking busy body control freaks.

Management in restaurant is a fools errand. If one of the line cooks even crosses 41 hours they make more money than you almost instantly. I cooked for years before I got my life together and the money isn't terrible as long as you know your place. I constantly belittled people who held your position because I knew I could. I work for an agency where at least 90% of our employees are women and almost 100% of our clients are women-owned companies that produce products and services for women. Every one of my meetings is me and like 8 women. They're not mean or unpleasant, but the small talk is so excessive and boring I want to kill myself. They all travel constantly and try to one-up each other about whose weekend trip was better. And since covid lockdowns began they've all been into hiking and camping, and they are always jetsetting around and collecting hike trails like pokemon cards. The weird thing is that on paper these women are all leading extremely interesting lives, but there is something so viscerally boring about all of them I can't put my finger on. They are all triple jabbed and they support the current thing.

I did this for about a year. It was absolutely terrible. 17 employees and I was the one guy. Couple others worked there but they were in and out. So me and 16 women on the daily. About half of them were babies so that was nice. But I can only equate it to having 16 girlfriends without any of the benefits. For me, it’s really just zoom meetings are particularly annoying and they always want to do little “digital happy hours”. My job was fairly independent until recently though so I didn’t notice all that much downside besides the very effeminate environment.

I recently got a female supervisor that doesn’t know how to ask for things or be hands off. Instead of asking, she goes out of her way to demand. Instead of being clear about deadlines at the start, she is vague and just presses and “follows up” constantly. I worked as a teacher overseas. Education is disproportionally female. It's as ridiculous as everyone else's stories in any field. Drama, gossip, crying, fighting, backstabbing, moodiness, passive aggression, lust, jealousy, mania...it's the entire spectrum of emotion every month forever. Not a job story but i was in high school that was 90% female (art school, chasing grapghic design/photography job but since then i moved to other artistic proffesions which are less woman-dominated just to avoid those fuckin orks) and the only thing worse than place with 90% females is place 90% teenage females

I worked for several years in an Italian fashion brand's Tokyo office

The atmosphere was a lot less competitive than male-dominated places. It was also nice to easily go out for drinks/dinner with all (or near-all) groups of girls.

The minuses? Any company party/event meant I was going to be sexually harassed. I also was marked as the boy-toy of the PR/Marketing team in a company wide event. This was done mainly as a power move against other teams...but that team also had the hottest girls so I didn't care that much.

The way I see it there's typically only 4 types of women in an office job:

Type #1 Slobby middle aged desk jockies: Aged 30's and over, bitter, still have a high-school mentality, complain about any kind of work, will frequently say things like "that's above my paygrade." No concept of accountability or ambition. Gossip and browse Facebook all day when nobody is looking. You will usually find these in your accounting and sales departments.

Type #2 "Girlboss" middle managers: Age 30+, zero accountability as a manager, incompetent, spout "girlboss" "women are underrepresented in our field" bullshit all the time. Prioritizes "people skills" (aka zero real skills besides chit chatting.) Tries to organize women in the workplace groups. Were promoted due solely because they're a woman. 3) 20's millenial types: Young, usually hot because that's how they got the job. Care a lot about the usual HR DEI bullshit. Highly praised by simp male managers for doing the bare minimum. There was a constant air of tension and I remember a few bizarre instances in which people would take issue with things that seemed to be 100% non-problems to me. I found out very quickly that it was best to not speak at all and if I did need to, to choose my words very, VERY carefully.
