Why did people not go all-in on crypto in 2020/2021? It was obvious that this was a once in a century opportunity to become generationally wealthy. Yet I knew people who didn't go all in and take out loans to max out their crypto gains. Worse still were the ones who had savings and still refused to. What causes this unthinkable irrationality? It almost seems like they pride themselves on being poor and feel morally superior.

I tried to get a lot of people involved in crypto. Friends, coworkers, and family. I showed them my successful trades, my strategies, and my results, and explained how they could risk an absolute minimum of cash for incredible potential rewards. I was no crazed zealot, I very unobtrusively talked about my trading and how I wanted to share my success. Yet no one was interested. They seemed more interested in the meme stock bubble and wallstreetbets. It's like anything not on social media doesn't exist to normies.

What was baffling is how people continued to gripe about money issues, talk about how much they hate the rich and how unfair inequality is and how they can never buy a home. When they had a friend who was spoon feeding them a way to get rich, with almost no work required on their part. It's strange watching people be so dumb.

That's where you're wrong. Even if you tell them the solution, they still have to do a little bit of work. It takes time to buy bitcoin and transfer it to cold storage. And it requires effort to do some personal research and build up enough conviction to buy it. If buying BTC before the halving and holding until after the halving feels easy, it's only because you have an intuition for supply and demand dynamics and/or a natural distrust of government. Over time, bitcoin holders will outbreed fiat slaves, so humans will advance towards a kinder species. But today you can't expect someone genetically engineered for slavery to adopt bitcoin. Just be grateful you get it.

Because no one has money to invest, it's really that simple. Don't you hear all the stats of how many even "well off" people are living paycheck to paycheck

It's not that subtle. At high doses you become delirious and have vivid hallucinations of crawling insects and people. It's not a "good" trip though, it's basically a horror game IRL and you may do things you regret

Yup, when you send more than 10k to those legit sirs at crypto exchanges on Bahamas etc you get your anus inspected flagged by bank transactions reviewed etc
Neither normies or richfags who made by shady means are undergoing this for a stack of dog coins

Sorry but your post reads like pure mental illness. Bitcoin will have a small run again but it has very low utility. All it has is incumbency. Eth is superior to btc in every way. Eth/btc long short is one of the easiest trades you can make - 30% downside in a cataclysm and 400% upside in the coming years.

Around the time the bitcoin etf gets approved is when you bet the farm on this trade. As a long term hold, eth is safer though.

nobody actually got that rich off of it except for people who were already rich. maybe a relative handful of anons and nerds made enough (and managed to exit without getting scammed or bent over by the IRS) to retire in colombia or the philippines...but other than that? not many people really made it.

This doesn't warrant a fucking blog or even a thread, tl;dr it next time faggot.

Crypto related...

Why not instead of crypto you just buy NFTs via normal bank methods and send it to someone's debit?

This does require trust between both parties but come to an agreement of who sends what first or maybe a sort of "I'll send you ten dollars to show good faith, then the rest when I get the nft"
