just stake your stuff that is left here. I think you will make so good profits.

I at least got out with 667 link out of 1054. I've still got 1.35/4 ETH left in there. No idea what I'll do with it, feels like I should just leave it

What was the yield that they were offering on their Link pool before it went bust?

did most people lose half of their LINK stacks? I'd be fucking gutted if this was me.

>> No.55634234

It's kinda funny they blatantly stole from their LPs to cover their own asses and have faced 0 reprecussions or publicity for it.

Guess being part of the tribe helps.

i remember when chainlink tonight made a video warning everyone about bancor like 6 months before it went under

Depositing on B3 meant they sold have your stack for BNT for liquidity reasons. When the protocol rugged, they said they would no longer mint new BNT (meaning turning off impermanent loss protection.)

Not really a big problem, eat the few % of IL and walk away. But what (((bancor))) did is they kept the half of the BNT they sold depositors initial stacks for and said fuck you essentially, while lying as gaslighting about what impermanent loss is. They ended up trying to change the definition of it to suit themselves and play semantics on why their new definition of impermanent loss meant they could keep depositors tokens(sound like a (((familiar))) tactic?)

tl;dr,
Bancor rugged and made up a new definition of impermanent loss to keep in many cases a very large % of holders rightful tokens. No reprecussions and still peacock in the industry like victims

Thanks for the qrd

I believe it's mathematically impossible to mitigate divergence loss anyway. That's what concerned me about Bancor. Any project trying is going to get burnt sooner or later

bancor was a "defi protocol" and that offered staking without impermanent loss protection, paid out in bancor.
they released a new version that allowed for an infinite bancor coin glitch. i forget exactly how it worked, but some whale caught on and would short it on cex while obtaining millions more token from the dex then dumping on the cex.
bancor team shut it down, reversed their stance, not just on il protection, but didn't cover original deposits.
>>55634334
did he warn about the v3, when shit hit the fan? the protocol seemed to operate fine through v2, and stuff happened fast after v3 iirc

Kind of glad I sold all of mine a few years ago.

Didn't lose any money on it but I had to hodl for a while before I managed to get out.

Taught me a good lesson.

You think after over a decade on /pol/, I would have known better. Greed is a hell of a drug. Thankfully I didnt put much on but those bancor Jews owe me like $3k

you simply donated your money to animals

i lost nearly 1000 link
a small % of my stack but still brutal
to make it worse, i was in v2.1 to be safe and they cut us off from withdrawing even though the 2.1 link pool had surplus link
so fucked up
