BTC immediately starts to shit its pants and bring down all of crypto with it

>LINK stays above $7 for not even 24 hours

Either Sergey is dumping his OG BTC stack every time he announces something, or there are even bigger villains than CZ, SBF, Simeon and Mashinsky preying on these motherfuckers. LINK was pumping against the market by itself, and right on cue. We have to sustain that to get back to market cap 5

It's boring AF but with ccip launching its means it's going to be slow. BTC will go up with halving, there's nothing anyone can do about that, and all of crypto will go up with it, it's just a question of how high link can get. I'd be happy with 30 desu, but with ccip and more demand for link, who knows. They can only do so much if ccip goes bananas and everyone wants to use it

I do like that this is what it boils down to, though. This is, the last refuge of a desperate fudder, the price. Think about it.
It does not make sense from a rational perspective to suppress a small market cap project with a 1 trillion asset, unless you have unlimited money and use it to keep your power and/or think Chainlink is worth a lot more than Bitcoin at 1 trillion.

PSA to all - whenever you notice a group of bagholders pivot to virtue signaling/giving life advice/lashing out against those who don't view the investment as a cult, it's one of the biggest signs it's over and you're probably going to lose money. The changes happen gradually but become more apparent as time passes/you take breaks from the space and then return. The tone of Link posts today is drastically different than even 2 years ago.

Psychologically, this pivot helps protect the ego from the potential reality that their investment isn't the genius grand slam they thought it was. This is where you'll see a retelling of the original thesis if you will, where they talk about how all of the current problems were foreseen and baked into the original plan ("dude the whitepaper talked about this"), the original price predictions were just an inside joke, and it was always an extremely (decade+) long term investment. This is also where you'll see a lot of twitter personalities talk about all the self-help type stuff they're now doing, and how the coin being in a permanent bear market is actually a good thing. Doing such allows them to retain "guru" status amongst their followers, but is often referred to as "cope" on certain underground Mongolian weaving forums.

The conversation around BTC dumping every time LINK shows strength has always revolved around whether or not it's happening, but I haven't heard any compelling arguments with screenshots indicating who could potentially be behind it. Both fuddies and shills agree that it happens, even if fuddies gaslight the shills after the fact.

Everything that Chainlink is building is in direct response to demands from large corporate entities and banking institutions. They want to be connected to public blockchains, but they don't want that to be their core network. As far as they are concerned they can maintain their own private chain and do high frequency shit on their own with internal or bridged assets. What they do need is an on/off ramp into public blockchains that is not backed by some sketchy jeet or a Chinese exchange. You have a time now where at least in the US non mega banks are absolutely desperate to find a way to pad their assets to not go out of business and offering crypto custody along with being an on ramp themselves while cutting out the exchanges is now a turnkey option.
This is not a small thing and when the transactions start flowing you will never buy. You have been programmed with the idea that "it will dump again". But it won't dump this time, from retail needing a small bag to pay gas to interact with new dapps to institutions buying for speculation and gas it will just keep pumping.
I remember the exact thing happening with ETH in the teens, people just sat back and watched it in disbelief.

Id say it is special, in that by buying Link, you specifically go out of your way to lose money

Jan 1 prices
Xrp 35 cents
Btc 16,500
ETH 1,200
Link 5.6

Today

Xrp .79
Btc 30,104
Eth 1,914
Link 6.9

In summary, anyone who bought Link over other cryptos in the last year has left somewhere between 35-100%+ gains on the table. A horrendous outcome for anyone investing sizeable amounts (so not biz)

>e everyone is brown, r right guys? Guys!?!

What typically follows in these scenarios, is a schism is created amongst the investor base between those unhappy with price performance, and those who think the company can do no wrong, let's call them "loyalists". To the loyalist, it is not necessarily important whether they make money, at least not in the short-term, rather they value the emotional experience of being involved with this particular investment community. Typically a loyalist will modify several aspects of their personal life to reflect participation in the community, as well as valuing the executive team and other high profile members of the community greater than their own immediate family. Given this extremely strong relationship, any attempt to criticize the actual investment and/or it's community will be ill received by the loyalist, who will oftentimes believe the criticism to originate from nefarious intent. This phenomenon is referred to as "Paranoid Personality Disorder" (PPD) in mental health circles

Eth had its run because it didnt have any competition for liquidity, when eth was created there was less then a dozen alts. Link will never have a eth run because there are tens of thousands of different shitcoins which money entering crypto gets split amongst. Many people dont even fuck with altcoins these days, its all meme coin meta now.
Link is too late, its just altcoin #3826/50,000+.
Eth only had its run because it was pretty much the only option, the only other coin that had a good run from that time is monero.

Theres just far too many new alt coins distracting everyones attention, hell even bitcoin gets cucked by shitcoins because theres less money flowing into it.
