my LCS has more bullets and since i saw them online going for over $40 i may as well go buy the rest of them.

buying tubes and capsules today.
also got an amex platinum card in today and they offered about $1250 worth of points if i can spend $6k in 6months. it's packed full of insurance/travel benefits so im moving everything there for essentially a free $1250.

i also am gonna sort through my junk silver and sell shiny, pretty looking coins for 40xfv, and replenish before so i never go below my threshold in case the FED crashes midweek out of nowhere.

anon what do you do for work to get gold scrap? i do computer and have thought about it but the time, effort, and expenses seems not worth it and i'd rather just get a second mindless job at that point.

Oh yea it should be easy money flipping those bullets, they are always in high demand and never stay in stock. I work at a factory and we get in bales of cardboard from all over the US. The bales are sold to us by the ton so the more they weigh the more we pay for them. The companies we buy from don't bother emptying the card board boxes before they are smashed into bales to add weight to them. Once we get them the bales are shredded and all metal and plastic gets sorted out and dumped on the ground, then it gets loaded into containers and shipped to a landfill. If we aren't busy we are allowed to go out and sort through the metal and plastic for anything valuable. We have found gold/silver coins, jewelry, watches, gun parts, absolute tons of copper, brand new shoes, zippos, basically any product you can think of that is shipped or transported in a cardboard box has come through our facility.

Here's what I got this week. Oh melt it I will. You would be suprised by what people and companies throw away on accident. Long story but will try to keep it concise.
A few years ago the owner of a local mom and pop jewelry store died. He left the business to the kids. They didn't want to run it so they hired a company to strip it and sell everything off. Everything went great until the contractors got to all the filing cabinets in the back that held customer records. They trashed them all, hundreds of customer records, not realizing that the manilla envelopes attached to the records contained jewelry that the customers had sent in to get, repaired, cleaned, resized. All of those records got sent to us because our process completely destroys any paper making us eligible to dispose of personal records. Everyone in the factory was pulling out gold, silver, jewels. It was a free for all. It got back to the kids and contractors what was going on and demanded we dig out all the jewelry and return it. Our owner told then to fuck off they sold it to us it belonged to him now and if they wanted it back they could apply for a job and if they got hired they could come dig it out on their break time.

Maybe 4 or so ozs of gold, 30-40 ozs of silver. I wasn't a stacker, initially I rarely did any panning at work and would sell what little I found to another guy that used to work there. I've since started going out and digging more and sitting on my ass less at work and keeping what I find. I got into stacking as a way to protect my wealth. Crypto has become a scam, the stock market is running at peak bullshit and manipulation, and inflation, and wage stagnation is destroying everyone's finances. Stacking was the most logical way to protect myself. I'm not finding life changing amounts but I'm essentially getting paid to look for gold and silver when I've got nothing to do at work so why not.

Well lads, I did it.
I have 180oz of silver and 1oz of gold.
I am officially secure in the case of a USD shitshow, and although I won't live amazing well, I will be able to manage decently after things stabilize.
I have a few nice guns and a ton of ammo.
Now I will work towards acquiring a small place in the middle of nowhere as a bugout location to ride out any emergencies.
Only then will I feel the peace of mind needed to spend my money on other things. I post pics of the pile tomorrow.

This is such bullshit. First of all, the dude selects his victims and the resulting videos for maximum outrage. So what you see is intentionally skewed towards stupid. But even more importantly, when a stranger approaches you on the street you know something is up. Only a fool would NOT be on the lookout for getting scammed. Under those circumstances it is natural to be suspicious of what seems to be the obvious choice. Many, if not most, would select the less obvious choice because they think the obvious choice is a ruse.

Anyone who posts this crap as evidence of anything needs to develop some analytical thinking.

>Weigh them, measure them, ping them. Gold is hard to fake. But it isn't that hard to make fake collector coins out of real gold.
This is such bullshit.
First of all, you have to know the exact volume of the coins in order to make any sense out of the weight, and determining volume for such a small item is virtually impossible with household equipment. So what you're suggesting is skewed towards meaningless. But even more importantly, in order to make sens of the ping test your software has to have the frequency information for the coin in its database. Only a newbie casually throws around "ping test" as if a coin that small could produce enough sound for the human ear to tell the difference, especially without having a real coin to compare sounds with. Many, if not most, would look at the coin afterwards and realize, "I don;t know what it's *supposed* to sound like."
Anyone who posts "ping test" and "weigh it" to a neophyte to collecting as valid methods for testing ignores the need to first develop experience from working with the real coins first.

Allow me to assist you. You don't even need to calculate specific gravity. He has twenty of those coins. Drop them into a graduated cylinder. Measure the displacement, Divide by 20. Now you have the volume. Weigh the twenty coins on an electronic scale (cheap on Amazon). Divide by 20. You now have the mass and volume. Divide. You now know the density with sufficient accuracy to distinguish gold from any common element other than tungsten.

Context.
A newbie inherits a bunch of coins, has no others, questions legitimacy.
Your advice is to vaguely throw out some terms without really letting on what's involved. That's not helpful.
Now you're saying "oh yeah, I have a Sigma" probably because you aren't using the Archimedes process yourself, because it's the right way.
So for one set of coins, you'd rather Anon do what you don't, or spend $1k rather than a one-time $15 fee for consulting with a pro and testing.
As for the chocolate video, you're the mad one. I was mocking your indignation. It's entertainment, but if was me, I'd pick the coin. Why? because I have at least a smattering of what's at stake. So it shows at the least that the people he chose to include in the video (and he's got a slew of them) are clueless.

That chocolate bar video shows nothing at all and I explained why. The most it shows is people trying to figure out how not to be embarrassed on camera by some stranger who is obviously trying to fool them in some way. It doesn't show that they are clueless. It shows that they are second guessing because they know it is a setup of some kind. But you want to undermine the idea that silver and gold can ever be remonetized.

You also want to make people think that only expensive equipment can distinguish fake gold, which has been false for two thousand years.

I have a sigma because it saves me time. And I think someday I may be able to charge people a fee for using it.

i try to take mine while natural sunlight fills the room and the lights are still on.
you'll have to play with angles a bit to get it right but i have taken some decent pictures. i also used a black cloth to help the silvers pop.
i also try to angle the coins so the reflection isnt entirely on me

Don't hover over your coin, try to take glancing angles at it and get shots that way. If it's a proof coin with reflective surfaces, get something black and hold it above the coin for the cameo effect.

I've also found that if you have trouble with your phone's autofocus you can take a video of the subject and then take stills while the recording is going. The autofocus is less finnicky that way.

If fiat currency is Normal or Special Summoned by central bankers to the economy field in Attack Position: That fiat inflates 2000%, then if it has been rendered worthless, destroy it and implement a new CBDC

Anons I just want to get cute girls to dress up in maid outfits and clean my home, all while I tease them and mess with their work.
My desire for this grows by the day, and with it so does my wish for the manipulation on the metals market to stop.
Ai can only help me cope so much before my aristocratic soul dies.

Ping test is as simple as lightly holding it between your thumb and ring finger then using your index finger to flick the edge.

Once you know the sound of silver it becomes unmistakable.

I hope not.

Gold doubling over <2 years would signify significant problems with the USD. I don’t like the fed, or the government, or the fiat system, but the scale of F’d most Americans & Europeans would find themselves in if the dollar collapsed would be catastrophic.

Start with the cheapest one ounce round on the shelf. Once once you have some buffalos / morgans / walking liberties, then you can get a feel for what the silver value is worth. If you want to upgrade to a sovereign coin then coin shops will let you trade your bullion in for sovereigns (with a small up charge).
