Seems like these swindlers have forgotten who's paying their bills. I will let you in on a little secret: 6 years ago I took a huge gamble, as a poor student, to go all in with everything I had on this project. Now I am poorer than ever and life has become hell. Where is my fucking payout?

Chainlink has outperformed fiat by 50x, how are you poorer than ever? What have you done this last 6 years?

I haven't touched my stack, I'm currently unemployed and about to jump on welfare until I find a job. I barely have enough liquid assets to feed myself on a day to day.

So those are problems you would have had without holding Chainlink. Focus you energy where it matters, anon.
The more your energetic focus overlaps with things that are actually in your control to affect, the happier you are.

I believe that if it wasn't for LINK at my life would have been better. With link I've been sitting here just waiting for a miracle for the past 6 years, wasting all this time.

Well there's a good lesson in that anon, one you can learn today.
I'm going to learn full stack webdev from the start of August, doing a Codecademy course. Would you be interested in getting on the codeanon train?
Would be nice for a few anons to work our way up together.

Kek, it could be that Anon didn't take profit. He was convinced by Sergey Nazarov to keep holding until link reached $1,000 by 2023. Kek. Sergey Nazarov is good at deluding those brainless fags.
For now, I prefer investing in projects with good utility that are still undervalued but have good potential. A good example I'm looking at is Peaq Network, following their recent partnership with Eloop One.

You could end up getting screwed. If you're tired of the price, look into something else, but if you believe it still has what it takes, then invest more in it.

Do late retail buyers unironically believe they "funded" a multi-billion dollar company with the little money they put in? Lol.

The only reason Link is as big as it has become is because of biz caring about it. Instead of pumping Sergey's coin, this board should buyout its own operation and cuck Sergey.

all you have to do is go down to the unemployment office and show them your wallet full of funny money and they will give you double the value in fiat and you get to keep your tokens and don't have to pay the fiat back

I feel the same.
I acted like a janitor doing free advertising for a project I didn't have any control over.
Years later we are left with nothing while Sergey enjoys increasing fame, wealth and power after having created a business.

I failed the commandment of control.
I should have used all of this energy to build my own business instead of giving my time and energy away for free for a naive idiot who refused to play politics, and helped every psychopath in the space to attack his project.
To this day he still didn't take ownership for his lie of releasing CCIP last year, and he used Chainlinkgod to release the information of a possible release this summer.

Sergey doesn't have the courage to face his "bag holders" and to take ownership for his failure.
That's not the type of person I wanted to associate with.
I wasted all my time on someone who didn't deserve it and what I got from it was a mind break which destroyed my consciousness from the exceptional failure followed by emptiness with nothing to show for it.

>>55564899
This could be a solution for my problems too, but I don't want to go back to being a wage slave and could only do contractor work on my terms. However I doubt that would work well with no experience in smart contracts.

I'm not trying to be mean but the only naive person here is you. Sergey is a scammer. He might not have started out that way but that's what he has become. He is cashing out $30,000,000 dollars a month on the backs of people like you to fund a lavish lifestyle for himself and his friends. He spends it all on marketing basically - no meaningful progress has been made in years. That marketing keeps the scam going and gives people like you enough Stockholm syndrome to either double down or hold. If you take the cult of personality Sergey has built up around himself and see things without emotion it's clear that this isn't just some well meaning babbys first crypto project gone wrong, this is a scam. There is zero accountability, zero fiduciary duty, and zero progress or promises kept.

It's just marketing and breadcrumbs as Sergey and the team run for the exits as fast as they fucking can without giving the game away.

I doubt there is any cult of personality left in the bear market after Sergey betrayed everyone's trust and his devs receive death treats on twitter daily.
Every crypto project is a scam because there is no company ownership like with stocks and a Linkpool like rug pull can happen to everything.

However in Sergey's case he was really a gullible and naive idiot who thought that he would be rewarded for funding all the DeFi projects for free with investor money. He finally learned what he should have done years ago thanks to Eric's support with his BUILD program but it's too late like with everything else.
BUILD would have made a great difference in 2020, and the same applies to staking.

The reason he attracts all these scammers is because he refuses to acknowledge the existence of evil and psychopaths and because he was betrayed in the past creating the belief that humans can't be trusted. This belief manifests into reality through his action and he generates the same belief towards his investors.

The solution is very simple. He needs to revisit his past and release the negative emotions associated with this memory. Then he needs to imagine a better and healthier solution to it.
This will change everything and release a lot of energy.

Exactly. I wish everyone here could think the same, but we have so many pleb buying into false narratives. It could be that they are too dumb to understand that this is not how things work. If only they could incorporate some sort of development like DePIN, it would gain some traction, but the USP is far from that. This aspect is part of what PolkaDot is counting on via a project built into it, and PolkaDot 2.0. link is far from achieving its ATH if this continues. I don't care if any retards condemn this, but my instance remains firm.

Ever since I bought Chainlink I felt my soul slowly leave my body. I'm like a person who is no longer sapient, nothing more than a collection of meat and preprogrammed directives. I'm no longer capable of making decisions, it's strange.. and it's like it comes from somewhere else. For example: something happens and I just act, I no longer think what's "right" or "wrong". Interestingly, I don't even believe in right or wrong anymore only better and worse.

It's like what happened to Phineas Gage. Possibly part of my prefrontal cortex has been irreparably damaged from trauma. My entire personality has changed since buying Link and becoming a marine. I am no longer the same person, my hopes, dreams, and wishes have all vanished. Now I only care about stress minimization and avoiding conflict.

I have nobody to blame but myself, although I'm no longer capable of blame as I can no longer think for myself. And the worst part? I actually like it. I mean, I didn't choose to, I was programmed to, and somehow it worked...

You have been freed from your ego.
Have you heard of Zeno of Citium's story?

He was a very wealthy merchant who lost everything in a boating incident.
He asked the oracle of Delphi to give him guidance for his life.
He was told to look in the past and went to the library where he found someone who brought him on the path to stoicism.
He is considered one of the founders of it.

We have no control over external events but we can control how we react to them.
Find out what you will build from this experience and what it changed in you.
