Instead of having to pay interest to whoever to get money. It makes no fucking sense.

National debt makes no fucking sense

Issuing fiat is for the (((private))) central blankness which is backed by all the alphabet agencies (cia, mi5, mi6, etc, etc, etc) and full military of nato.

dear anon, i caught myself admiring your IMG_2820.jpg, and i would be delighted to kindly ask your permission to allow me to save this image to my own computer. Would you graciously allow this, kind stranger? i particularly like the cat presumably honking a french horn with the assistance of a human bean holding it up. it makes me happy, and i even chortled when thinking about the reasons a cat would possibly need to honk a french horn! by granting me the permission to save this image, i may recount my original cackles and joy this image has brought to me, perhaps even again in the future.

It does. While most of the bonds the US government our bought by outside entities, the federal government does indeed issue and buy back its own bonds. However the more they do it the more the money inflates and trust is lost in the currency (especially in comparison to other currencies). However for all the bullshit the USD has pulled other currencies have pulled far worse which is why USD still reigns

Do you really want congress arguing over what the intrest rates or level of money printing should be?

It's better we have a 3rd party that congress can give objectives to and that 3rd party can they go out and make it happen with out politcal agenda. (Or at least less)

People cry about the Fed but the alternative is way worse.
