There was good reason to believe the alts would dip further relative to btc. The spot etf & xrp ruling were both unpredictable positive events. If it weren't for that positive news, we would be at 25k btc right now, and alts would have dropped another 20-30% if xrp were declared a security.

Whether we move down from here depends on whether that spot etf is approved - I don't think we will have a resolution until next year though
