You basically give up 50% of your S&P gains to buy it, so that's why mine is 70/30 and desu i could probably do 80/20 instead and should. Over the last ten years, a 70/30 split would return you about 10% still vs 12.3% of all in on SPY. 80/20 bumps you up to 10.8%.

VXUS isn't really making you money, but when we're talking passive ETFs, we're talking long broad timeframes and sometimes the point is just to hedge against a freak accident and make sure you're fine. For me, since this is mostly a "second savings" so I don't have to just put more than the 20k I have in my bank, it works out fine for what I want it to. So for that reason I guess I shouldn't bother investing in the NASDAQ
