I'm pretty new at this, never bought crypto in my life, all my savings are behind my pillow
I'm interested on buying some, since it's the future and all, yadda yadda
But I'm pretty afraid of being scammed, can you give me some tips, bizbros?

Probably should get a real job and a bank account before you think about investments.

By avoiding exploitable protocols you become unfraudable.

If you're buying a crypto via an address or just sending crypto to someone, get it verified first using a bot specialized with that
For me it's Wagiebot, works on Telegram and Discord, gives you info in real time, pretty handy for a newbie like you @wagiebot

Can you elaborate?
Again, I'm pretty new at this

Oh, and it also works for memecoin sniping, so you can have more chances to make it and bizlingo, etc... pretty handy

when you see threads about a project where the chart is down massively but the posters are never adressing it and instead reurgitating marketing tweets, that's a telltale sign of bagholder filter bubble. best to avoid these if you want to make money. examples would be LUNC, LINK and NFT scams

You're going to get scammed.

100%

This is why you don't use any money you can't afford to lose.

Learn to read contracts, learn to scout wallets.

Take chances, know when to withdraw. Know when to hold.

1.) Never ever share your private key/seed words with any website, customer support or anyone. This key has all the control of the funds. The only reason you "own" your crypto is because you are the only one holding this key. If someone else gets it, they have the same power as you and can steal them.
2.) Never sign or approve any contract you don't understand.
3.) Start with small amounts because you will most likely get scammed.
4.) Store bigger amounts in a cold wallet you never interact with and use separate hot wallet(s) for shitcoinery, signing contracts, minting NFTs, etc.
5.) Learn about this stuff from somewhere else than /biz/.
