What can I invest $20k in that will generate monthly revenue in passive income?

Is it worth buying an ASIC miner or is it a scam?

Any other options? Crypto or otherwise?

>> No.55523322

Just put it in the bank. If you haven't noticed, interest rates are actually pretty decent right now, you can find accounts with 4-5% yield risk-free.

If you want something more you can't avoid risk. Like an index stock fund or something.

Definitely NOT worth it to buy a miner.

investing in Bitcoin is much more worthwhile than leaving it as fiat

Like I said: Risk vs reward. Bitcoin could actually drop significantly in value (contrary to popular belief around here). IMO it is in fact not a good choice right now.

in the short term?
why do you think that?

In the near/medium term it will be the end of the era of low interest rates that halts the growth of crypto. I don't think a lot of people or institutions can afford or have the will to put money in bitcoin and earn nothing on it, when they can earn 5% yearly risk-free just by holding it in the bank or government bonds instead. You can point to inflation but fiat interest rates beats bitcoin significantly right now even when inflation is accounted for.

And long term I think it will be the lack of progress that does it in. Bitcoin adoption hasn't really increased in like 5 years. Back in 2016 I remember several stores I normally use accepted crypto as payment, now almost none of them remain. The only people who buy bitcoin seem to be speculators who just want to hold it in hopes of gaining more money. In fact, you could say that it's in a worse position right now because public opinion outside of the supporters is probably at an all-time low. There is a big cult-like vibe to it and I have no doubt that at one point it will finally die down. Blockchains will probably always be around, in a less hyped way, but it will probably be more useful chains like smart contract platforms rather than bitcoin.

Keep in mind this is just my opinion, if you disagree then you do you.

Speculating on something to go up in price is not "passive income"

1 month HEX stakes should earn you a few dollars a month barring all the price dips

Stake half on waves and half on marlin oyster. Very decent returns though it is staking so you know, don't expect a shit ton of money.

now i wonder what rates look like for institutions when it comes to crypto. it doenst make much sense to me why blackrock and company would hop in at arguably the worst time for bitcoin out of nowhere? there must certainly be something of interest to them here, no?

Staking =/= stable income specially if you aren't doing stablecoins. In fact it can be pretty risky.

>> No.55524243

>>55523638
And the only proper passive income option is putting it in some fund earning 2% yield a year or whatever. You MUST take risks like it or not.

Alternatively staking like this nigga says.
