Seriously I've come to realise I overthink everything and actually play by the rules, which isn't sensible. I see other people around me just blatantly lie about their income, expenses, qualifications, and just generally everything while I stupidly play by the rules because I'm terrified of retribution. Even if they get caught they can often filibuster their way out of a jail sentence though and just pay some amount in fines which is probably less than they earned lying. I don't even know if it's criminal or not to lie about qualifications but I know people who claim to have liability insurance when they don't which could be disastrous to me but they just don't care.
