I come to you today with a different kind of shill post, one with actual information, and for a coin I actually do not currently own. I'm hoping actually generate some discussion, and even some FUD as I'm still on the fence about buying this one.

>Nebulas
>A decentralized platform which provides a search framework for all blockchains.

nebulas.io
coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nebulas-token/
Technical Whitepaper: https://nebulas.io/docs/NebulasTechnicalWhitepaper.pdf
For retards the Non-Technical Whitepaper: https://nebulas.io/docs/NebulasWhitepaper.pdf

Quick Facts:
>ICO: 1 NAS = 2.00 USD (0.00273 ETH)
>Hard Cap (reached): 60,000,000 USD
>Ended 12/16/2017
>Total Supply: 100,000,000 NAS
>Currently trading on: Gate.io, Huobi, and EtherDelta @ ~2x ICO ($4.50-5)

Token Distribution:
>30% Pre-Sale & ICO
>35% Reserved for community
>20% Team & Advisors
>10% Founding Sale
>5% Nebulas Foundation

"Solid" Team:
>Hitters Xu & Guan Wang who are apparently also co-founders of Antshares (NEO), although I can't find any official source backing this up other than the NAS whitepaper.
>Robin Zhong former architect of Ant Financial's Blockchain Platform

Roadmap (for Q1 2018):
>Main-net launch (ahead of schedule)
>Fully functional blockchain, with JavaScript and TypeScript as the languages of Smart Contract.
>A user-friendly Nebulas Wallet for both desktop and mobile device to manage their own assets on Nebulas.
>A web-based Nebulas Block Explorer to let developers and users search and view all the data on Nebulas.

So, what the fuck is Nebulas?
Nebulas has three core features. Nebulas Rank, Nebulas Force, and Developer Incentive Protocol.

>Nebulas Rank
Is essentially a ranking algorithm for blockchain projects, assets, DApps, users, etc. The algorithm is based on liquidity, propagation of users' assets, and the interactivity between users.

>Nebulas Force
Provides the Nebulas blockchain & its distributed applications built on top, the capability to self evolve. Basically allowing the community to decide changes to the underlying technology.

>Developer Incentive Protocol
Provides blockchain/DApp developers a positive feedback loop which motivates them to create high quality distributed applications. Developers who rank well (based on NR) will be rewarded in our Nebulas Token (NAS) directly.

Token Utility:
NAS will be used in two different ways. First as mentioned above as payment to developers who rank well via their Nebulas Rank algorithm.
The second way is through what they call Proof-of-Devotion (PoD), which is essentially a modified PoS model. In this PoD model, "influential users" get the opportunity to become "bookkeepers" (stakers) of the NAS blockchain. Bookkeepers then stake some NAS and get to compete with others for the opportunity to for have bookkeeping rights (mine a block) and get rewarded with NAS.

So, any thoughts /biz/? From a technical perspective everything seems sound as does the team. The project itself seems promising. From a use case, being able to search blockchain projects with their ranking system seems like a good way to look for potential investments. My main issue is I don't really GET it. I just don't see it actually being utilized in any sort of meaningful way, and just seems like some idealistic endeavor to some how incentive developers to create "better" projects. It seems more like a long term hold, especially with the current market cap. I do have a buy order set on ED for slightly above ICO price, as I think it's a potential at least 2x if I can get in at that price, however I'm unsure of going in at any higher price (or what it's currently trading at ~$4.50).

u way behind it , this is literally google for blockchains. once normies here google with NAS will get explode., also they coming up with their office right next to google head quarters in silicon vally. I already onboard. want to accumulate more if price drops below 3$.

Also, from a recent blog post it seems they are working on getting on bigger exchanges as well:
>NAS has been listed on Bcex.ca, Lbank.info, gate.io, and will be listed on Huobi, Allcoin, with potentially many more major exchanges to come.

price seems bit high, but given potential anything below 3$ is steal for this project. already cointelegraph referring it as google for blockchain. once normies here google and NAS side by side, it will get sky rocket. only down side is currently its in shitty exchanges.

I'm all in, and I bought after it listed at like $6.

I'm ok with the current dip because I'm a believer in the project. The scope is nothing like we've seen, and the heavy hitter team is just great.

I can also tell you there is great Korean interest after it was shilled by a famous blogger (스펑키) there.

Koreans have made their own Kakaotalk chatroom cos so many of them came into telegram.

I'm looking for 5x in Jan then at least 20x by the end of Q1 when mainnet launches.

Oh btw did I mention the testnet launches within 3 days?

Always nice to have the Koreans on your side to pump the shit out of it.

>Oh btw did I mention the testnet launches within 3 days?
Yeah, was looking through their twitter and they tweeted about the launch about an hour ago. So, at least this is (very likely) not vaporware.

I may pump up my ED buy order, and hope it gets called as I would like to get in under the current price. If that doesn't look like it's going to happen I may just say fuck it and get in at whatever it's currently at, as the project seems solid enough I doubt I lose much (if any) on it.

Sorry for my typos, poor english, I am makku. my understanding is currently there are about 500 blockchains worldwide, it may go parabolic in future. so they want to have their own blockchain instead of relaying on ETH. not sure it answers u r question though :)

>> No.5550267

No man...

You are looking at the next 500bil market cap coin.
Do you know what the founder of Nebula said?
Don't call us the Yahoo of China we rather be the Google of Cryptos

I can smell the Chinese FOMO from Europe...the second this hits a Chinese exchange is going to go parabolic harder than anything you've seen.

With that sentiment, do you think the current trading price is a good entry point? Obviously, I'd like to be able to try to get in slightly above ICO, or at least sub $4.

Also, you (or any other anon) on Gate.io? Not on any of the exchanges it's currently listed on, and the volume on ED is almost nothing. If the Gate.io sign up process doesn't take forever I may just get on there as that's where the volume is. As I definitely want to get in before any of the bigger exchanges like Binance list it.

gate.io sign up is easy, thats where I bought back in Nov. also huobi.pro listed today. I have account on both gate and huobi sign up is easy. also no ID verification needed but to withdraw there is limit so u need to withdraw in small chunks.

>> No.5550465

Gate.io takes no time to sign up for and I have both deposited and withdrawn from there painlessly.

I doubt the price will go much lower than it is now, possibly to 0.006 ETH but it's been holding pretty steady at 0.007. With testnet launching I wouldn't count on a dip anytime soon unless BTC goes berserk again.

Here's another famous Korean blogger shilling NAS.

Oh, yeah that definitely started with ICX.

I thought you were referencing the meme that is the promise of the Chinese (and/or Koreans) pumping the shit out of your coin. That definitely started with NEO, if not earlier.

Okay, cool was just really interested in whether or not I'd have to go through all the ID verification hoops. Is there verification to get the withdraw limits increased or the just hard limits? Not something I foresee being a huge issue, just curious.

yes, I see option to increase withdraw limit if you submit id proof.

What’s the market cap?

I’m stupid

>> No.5550829

>>5550765
Market cap at ICO price ~$200,000,000 ($2.00 * 100,000,000 NAS total supply)

Current market cap ~$500,000,000 ($5.00 * 100,000,000 NAS total supply)

These numbers probably aren't completely accurate as CMD hasn't added the circulating supply, so we only have the total supply to go off of at the moment (as they may differ if some are locked/burned).

Which is why it'd place in the top 100 coins in market cap. imo it'll dip in price because it's hard to be in the top 100 without a lot of support. It'll probably pop a bit once it's listed on exchanges but idk

Considering how tight lipped they are about exchanges this is surprisingly honest
