As close to zero as you can. You should "cash out" of fiat, and put it into scarcer assets (Crypto, property, etc.).

Can't catch me with that Jewish shit. I am unbanked, unvaxxed and uncut. If your local businesses don't accept cash, crypto or barter then they are government bootlickers which enjoy paying taxes and want to be controlled. I suggest moving to a better place which respects you and your autonomy.

Right now? Maybe ~£5K, just as a safety net. That said, if you're in the UK: keep your eyes peeled for a class-action against retail banks in the next couple of years. They're already getting hammered by the regulators for failing to pass savings onto customers, and if a Labour chancellor gets into power, they'll be tempted to go further than a rap on the knuckles.

The more money you have there, to more money is created and pumped into real estate, with the ratio of 1:10. So having 1000$ there inflates housing prices by 10k $. The less you have there the better.

This. Cash is being devalued at 7-15% annually, COMOUNDED, if you hold a currency like the USD. So your money will lose about 99% of it's value in your lifetime.
If you hold weaker currencies like the Turkish Lira or Argentinuan peso, where the inflation is like 100%, then your money is losing half of its value in 12 months.

Scary shit. Convert all your assets to Bitcoin which is the strongest currency in the world.

yeah 50k is comfy. I personally like just do 2 years of expenses saved, which is roughly $80k for me, rest is split 2-1 between crypto and fun/travel/games etc. Some might say it's too much saved that will devalue to inflation but it truly feels good knowing you can stop working for years if it came to it without selling any assets

I have like $3000 in cash and a savings account but honestly the more I think about it, the more pointless it all is. I have a brokerage that gives me instant access to margin that I can withdraw as cash in about a day or two. So I don't see much point in having a savings account when I can just go to my brokerage and pull out cash for a low interest rate if I need to.
I think having some cash in small bills is great for odds and ends but I don't really do anything with a savings account as all my spare money goes into stocks/Bitcoin.
