Literally global warming is making the Earth spin faster which due to relativity, literally speeds up time on Earth. The Ice caps melt due to global warming which puts more water in the ocean, the water finds it's level concentration in the oceans at the equator. Because there is more mass at the equator, with the equator being nearly perpendicular to the axis of Earths rotation, and because the moon pulls on water, the added water mass acts as a force multiplier to the already spinning Earth, causing it to spin faster. Due to the theory of relativity, the Earth spinning faster literally causes the passage of time to speed up on Earth.

You can look it up yourself. It's been verified with atomic clocks and all that shit. I don't know HOW much faster time is going by, but it is noticeable to people who are very aware of how they spend their time.

The mass of the entire ice caps is less than a millionth of the mass of the earth. The change in rotational velocity of the earth with the entire mass of ice caps moved from poles to equator would be infinitesimal. Also, the reference frame of observers on earth wouldnt change so there would be no perceived change in the passage of time.

If it were to travel from the poles to the equator it would increase the moment of inertia of the earth and conservation of momentum would dictate it rotate slower. The amount slower would be negligible, especially in regards to quantum effects.

when you get older, everything seems faster because you aren't having new experiences as much like when you were a kid. e.g. you just go to work every day instead of going to new classes, winter break with friends, new classes again for 4 months, summer break with friends, etc. etc. maybe quit your job or something idk

1. I'm a (former) coder with a CS degree. Left my job a year and a half ago due to severe burnout and depression + a budget crisis with my old house which forced me to sell. Haven't been able to find work since then because my old job screwed me by using an ancient language (COBOL), NO other jobs in my 300 mile range used cobol
2. I'm currently learning sales + marketing, I'm trying to eventually shift over to some type of sales since I've grown to really hate tech. I can tolerate tech or cybersecurity sales, but coding itself? Nope.
3. As mentioned above, am NEET and stuck here for the time being due to dogshit economy

It really does feel like time is moving faster every day. I used to feel like an evening lasted for ever and now i just glance at the clock and it looks like hours pass when i feel like just minutes have passed. I think this is the reason why we need ai so desperately i think all of us know we can't waste precious time in stupid tasks anymore. That's why i shifted almost all of my folio into ai projects. Just slurped shib$ART for this and im planning to slurp all major projects coming next

1. Actually good choice since programming is "increasing opportunity cost" field meaning that as time goes your skills are worth less because u need to relearn new tech putting u on the same level of newcomers. but then you are also older which make it better for them.
this is why nobody want old programmers, they learn slow and know irrelevant tech

2. 100% legit good choice make sure to study it hard and take it seriously also develop a mentality where you dgaf and cold call everyone even if they tell u to kys

3. BAD

ok here is what you do. Get sales job ASAP anything goes really, insurance, sell coding bootcamps w/e, anything goes. You will make decent money + if you are not applying what you learn then it's wasted learning.

on ur free time learn sales and keep going 100% hard, you can actually get really far.

That's a shame life for codefags shouldn't be hard. I graduated 2 years ago and I do web shit (mostly angular) and I know webdev gets a lot of hate but it's comfy as fuck and pays mostly as good as other programming jobs. Today I added 1 line of code, deleted 9, made one merge request, analyzed a bug and had a 30 min meeting. I was off before 3 pm and was in bed most of that time.
