I think you would need a million bars to run a node but right now there are only 1300 people with more than a million Hbar. Not enough for decentralisation imo.
There's only 2400 people with more than 500,000 Hbar, again still not enough imo
There's around 5700 people with more than 200,000 Hbar, 5000 nodes is a pretty decent amount of nodes imo, still not ideal but decent.
Of course the number of people holding large amounts will increase in the future but I think anywhere between 200,000-750,000 Hbar will be enough to run a node
