Daily reminder that finance is pseudoscientific make believe garbage and capitalism is inherently unstable, exploitative and unsustainable with a built in expiration date. Ever escalating recessions, poverty, debt, wealth inequality, monopolies, worsening labor conditions, disease, pollution, exploitation, slavery, conflict and wars are fundamental, necessary and intended principles of it, NOT glitches. Greed, selfishness, lying, cheating, stealing, competition, conflict, slavery and war and overall evilmaxxing are behaviors highly encouraged and incentivized under capitalism. It is LITERALLY cancer and i dont mean it metaphorically, i mean it literally, it shares the exact same functions and principles as a cancer cell.

Unless every single financier parasite, banker and trader is euthanized and every stock market and bank is burned to the ground, and the status quo completely abolished, the biosphere and all life will extinguished. The higher the "Line god" (GDP) is, the lower life is. Every single parasite like you needs to be euthanized

>In economics and finance, a Glownigger Market is said to occur when a country's financial policymakers begin manipulating econometric data for their political benefit. [1] This may be accompanied by organized propaganda campaigns, hidden monetary easing, as well as other forms of financial repression, in order to reinforce the illusion that a nation's troubled economy is sound and resilient. [2, 3] In a Glownigger Market, stocks may seem to rally, even irrationally so, in the face of worsening economic conditions. However, while the goal of a Glownigger Market is to either delay or prevent a politically undesireable financial correction from occurring, the policy actions that led to the Glownigger Market invariably increase the severity of the subsequent financial crisis. By attempting to overpower healthy corrective market forces, a Glownigger Market causes extreme capital misallocation that can turn a minor economic downturn into a severe and protracted economic depression. Wont this pumping lead to more rape hikes than expected? My accounts are doing great but I dont expect it to keep this up for much longer. This seems like too much pumping before jobs even really took a hit. If the job market is still not in the pooper, and the stock market is doing ok (though still down a lot from its all time peak), doesn’t the fed have more room to hike rates?

>Wont this pumping lead to more rape hikes than expected?
Market activity isn't (supposed to be) a contributing factor in the Fed's decision on interest rate. They primarily use inflation and economy data for that. However, said inflation and economic data is not showing anything that would give them pause in the already stated plan of 5.6% (two more 25 boop hikes this year). They are likely to do the next 25 at the end of July meeting.

I would advise to visit stocktwits to get an overall feel for the ticker. Ignore the rocket ship emojis and claims of to the moon, these people are idiots. Pay attention to people who post news.
Anyone with anything good to say is usually a bag Holder huffing opium, so again, only pay attention to news articles and people talking about splits and dilution. Reverse splits are bad because a company needed to artificially increase the price of shares by reducing the number of them. Warrants and offerings are bad because a company usually issues new shares for these warrants. So keep an eye out for news regarding those kind of things.
Check and see how much stock is held by the company and the shorting volume. If the company has a high % of it's own stock or is doing a buyback it is trying to increase the shareholder value, otherwise it just treats it's shareholders like an ATM, diluting the stock to 0, reverse splitting to give it value again, and then doing offerings for funding with new shares.

It’s Getting a Lot Harder to Chase the Stock Rally From Here On
Equities are disconnecting from worsening economic backdrop
Profit warnings, rising rates deal a blow to soft-landing bets
Global equities have decoupled from a worsening economic backdrop after rising about 13% in 2023, prompting warnings from some of the world’s top money managers that chasing the rally from here on is a risky move. Growing corporate profit warnings are also driving home the message.
“Resilience now is sowing the seeds for fragility down the line,” said Andrew McCaffery, global chief investment officer at Fidelity International. “The ‘best-flagged recession in history’ still isn’t upon us. But that recession will come when the lagged effects of policies eventually take hold.”
Almost 99% respondents in a Deutsche Bank AG survey of 400 market professionals said higher rates will likely lead to more global “accidents,” with most of them expecting the moves to bring fresh strain to financial markets.

It can get expensive owning a boat outright, but there are training programs out there where you can assist folks on the weekends and gain experience that way. There are also (relatively) cheap price points if you just want something small enough for a single person. What you have in your picture is a yacht and is probably worth 8 figures, so if that's your idea of sailing you're probably out-of-luck unless you become a captain or full-time assistant.

If you're confused what a breakdown means, you can use volatility metrics like cash VIX in backwardation or a momentum signal like return on S&P over the last 12 months below the risk free rate. Either of those two are really easy to follow and will get you out with minimal damage. If you need something less awesome but still brain dead easy use a 15% trailing stop on SPY. Ah, no worries mate. Pocket sailboats are excellent for starting, that's how I was introduced. In middle school a family friend went out on weekends to sail around the Chesapeake Bay and we'd tag along occasionally. Anecdotally, the east coast and gulf are way more into sailing than the west coast, which means more access/cheaper prices/more opportunities. A lot of retirees sail and will pay for extra help.

Depends on how much you know beforehand. I think everyone planning to sail privately should take at least a month or two of lessons, but I don't think there's value beyond that unless you plan on getting certified. Learn the safety lessons (and take them seriously, fuckups are expensive), learn the logistics of both working the vessel and being around large groups of other boats (how to use the radio, etc) but once you've got the basics down you're set for most day-to-day use. The nuances only come with experience, which you'll only get by getting on the water more often.

Keep pumping the markets for 4 more years, is what you mean, isn't it?
They'd probably do that if Biden gets "reelected."
As long as inflation re-accelerates as high enough so it keep real rates negative and the markets (indices) in tandem.

Poem anon, I post this song all the time, but everytime it pops into my playlist, I think of you. You're a richfag lanklet that goes out and does things. You are a hop, skip, and a jump from being a normalfag. You can take the bluepill and be free of all of this. You're hanging out in blackpill anonymous. Natgas was going up because of the June heatwave, but temperatures are predicted to go down because of a cool wave across the burger states. This will probably take it back to the support around 2.34 dollars. At roughly 8 bucks per 14-15 cents, this also means BOIL will probably dump to around 46 bucks. This is reflected in BOIL's monthly chart which is now a head and two shoulders.

However if it holds at that point, temperatures will increase again later in July and Ngas will probably hit 3 bucks or greater in august, causing BOIL to quickly swing upwards close to 87 dollars, a roughly 90% gain from this hypothetical bottom. It will likely fluctuate going upwards for the next 2 months, before a september selloff causes it to fall back to the lower support levels of 2.14 and 1.9, retesting these depending on how badly it goes.

Towards November it may get as high as 4 bucks again, which puts BOIL as high as 138 dollars, before the new year selloff into winter.
