The market is a husk. Retail money has exited the building. It will take a new spin of some sort of “crypto is the next big thing and everybody is getting rich!” to bring them back. Then alts pump because nobody thinks they’ll get rich from Bitcoin so they’re looking for “the next Bitcoin”. Most alts are scams. Chainlink is the one known exception but it doesn’t matter because it is too hard for people to understand and doesn’t squarely fit into the “next Bitcoin” narrative normies need. Shit like LINK are 10+ year holds (from today, I mean). Bitcoin and ETH and a whole new slew of scams will pump in the next media cycle. Who the fuck knows when that will be… probably late next year to early 2025. The fishies need time to forget.
