And this goes for everyone who is not willing to utilize debt to get what they want. The only reason everyone can continue to have jobs is because more salient individuals recognize that spending and debt is how everything continues to run.

If I'm a hiring manager. And I see you have no car payment. You have no mortgage. You are unwilling to finance tech products. If you are unwilling to finance furniture. You are pretty much saying "I want a job but I don't want other people to have jobs because I'm unwilling to go in to to debt". Not only do hiring managers pick up on it. But your friends and family pick up on it too. They realize that you want to hurt others to get ahead without doing any of the promised work (debt) to get ahead.
