Happened to me back in 2021. I cashed out 90k in Italy and the bank froze my account. Had to change banks and then open multiple bank accounts just in case

It was the main HQ of the bank that decided to redflag my account for suspicious activity

Happened to me back in 2018. Wells Fargo here in the US, Cashed out 40k and they flagged my account. Didn't get unfrozen for over two months afterwards, literally had a family member who is an attorney work with me to get it done and it seemed like forever. The weird thing is that same attorney warned me ahead of time about 'nickel and diming' many cashouts at 5k like I wanted..he said that would be 'structuring' and that would be more of an IRS flag and not to do it that way. Now I nickel and dime and have had zero problems.

Happened to me in 2028. Nordic Bank here in Sweden (new bank). I tried to cash out 450 000 000 000 000 USD to buy a loaf of bread and they suspended by account for suspected right wing activity. I wasn't able to get them out and my social score dropped to 42
