How do I find motivation to do something with my life? I have just coasted through my whole life and always took the easy option. I got C's in school, cheated on a few exams, etc. I've never had any dreams or aspirations my entire life. I remember when I was 12 my dad asked me what I wanted to do when I was older and I said "bus driver" and he looked so disappointed.

I'm 23 years old now and I've just worked in my parents business (bakery) or the last 5 years but I can tell my Dad is getting sick of me and wants me to fuck off. I've got some community college degrees, but nothing special. I literally have no idea what to do with my life and just live every day as it comes.

People shouldn't have children with the expectation that they're sheep and follow the same path as everyone else. If you have a child then it's your responsibility to potentially take care of them forever, not to hope they move out shortly after 18.
