What is more valuable to hold when silver becomes less common as the century goes on? Physical silver you hold or stocks in mining companies with significant silver output? I want to say actual physical silver will outperform as resource problems will first hit jewelers and jewelers are pushed out from buying physical silver to make things. I could see a black market where owning a stash of silver could be profitable there and remaining silver mined is fought over in the shadows between large companies that need it for their production purposes.

>Mfw if Vortex Energy is now reaching a bit over half of Salt's MC

These fossils can't get the FS and new CEO going quickly enough and hopefully the new guy can inject some life into this stock and we start getting a stream of news.
There's zero reason that Vortex market cap should be even remotely close to salt's considering how much further ahead salt and TPR are and what they have going on with the salt deposit.
Or maybe we should say that salt is undervalued as fuck at the moment, which ever works.

That being said here's some Canadian hydrogen stuff

https://www.canada.ca/en/natural-resources-canada/news/2022/06/date-june-1-2022-the-honourable-jonathan-wilkinson-minister-of-natural-resources-announces-the-regional-energy-and-resources-strategy-during-a-keyn.html

>As the President of the European Commission stated recently, “It is our switch to renewables and hydrogen that will make us truly independent.”
>hydrogen supplied by stable countries such as Canada, that will provide true energy and national security to Europe.
>in Quebec, the list may focus more on hydrogen from electrolysis, electricity exports, critical minerals and battery development and production

Hydrogen is at this point a very clear cut deal, it's coming and it's not even speculative anymore.
They will build the hydrogen infrastructure regardless of how much or little sense it makes and they will subsidize the everloving fuck out of it.
I'll try to buy some physical platinum if it doesn't run away before I can get money for it.

Their being allowed to appeal the earlier decision from the BC Supreme court, where they lost the rights to the Eskay Creek Mine tailings storage site.

Not really, but I finally did some more i-80 gold DD. I actually like the stock, mgmt seems competent and you get a lot of leverage. Unfortunately their main project is polymetallic now, but they are getting some insane hits. But the ore does have a lot of deleterious elements that may cut significantly into payability on the concencrate, like what is the case with Skeena. I also don't know if they could run into permitting issues, even though Nevada is one of the best jurisdictions.
Still a lot of uncertainties with this one but it certainly has potential. Their properties hold big mineralized systems.

Broooooos should I just sell all my copper and cash out? Commodities aren't looking exactly hot right now and with China once again being China... then again, if their stimulus packet goes through, then we're talking.
How do you guys deal with this uncertainty? In typical stocks like mega tech, you just slurp every dip and hold, knowing that you will easily average 30-40% per year. But commodities?

Basically saying things we all already know, probably just to put something out there as an "update"
I actually want salt to crash hard along with everything else in the market because I want to about double my holdings, but god dammit salt management has been pissing me off throughout all of this.

Apparently the management chose some total nobody company with little experience to perform the CEO search, which explains a lot.
They have really fucked up the timeline with this. Whole thing was supposed to be a quick sale and that's it.
First their drilling got delayed, then the PEA got delayed and had ridiculously lowball numbers, CEO search was supposed to be finished in February and who knows when the FS is coming out, it's supposed to be out this month, but I bet it'll be September at earliest.
Also TPR was supposed to either have been sold or already trading, but it's only now making it's way into the market.
And all of this has happened in a place where they have zero problems with the government etc.. It's been about as smooth as they can be on that front and still they've fucked up.

If the fundamentals weren't as great as they are, I'd be a big miffed to hold this stock through the slump and I'd be apprehensive to buy more.
Thank fuck their resource along with everything else is extremely solid and so is TPR all things considered with how great of a position it's in. This is one of the safer plays out there, because TPR alone is going to make this return to the highs at bare minimum.
Lackluster management like this can really only lead to delays rather than torpedo the entire damn project and those delays can't last forever.
Or hell maybe they'll bungle up the sale and let the whole thing go for something like 600 mil.

The war has long been priced in so I wouldn't draw any conclusions based on that. Everybody knew about a year ago that that market is out of the game. Those crop price charts don't inspire confidence of a sustained reversal either. Potash market remains oversupplied and Nutrien has had to revise guidance significantly after initial promises of massive production hikes at the advent of the war in Ukraine. Potash therefore remains in a clear downtrend.

you can buy the actual physical commodities but usually those aren't an investment in the sense that you expect to flip them for a profit. There are futures for short term forex-style degeneracy or actually selling or ordering huge batches for industrial reasons. And then there are ETFs that give you exposure or even leverage to certain commodity spot prices.

In options trading, being "out of the money" refers to a situation where the current price of the underlying asset is unfavorable for the option holder to exercise their right to buy or sell the asset. It means the option does not have intrinsic value at the moment.

When someone says "2 strikes out of the money," it typically means that the current price of the underlying asset is below the strike price of the option by two increments. Each option contract has a specified strike price, and if the asset price is below that strike price, the option is considered out of the money.

For example, if the strike price of an option is $100 and the current price of the underlying asset is $90, the option is out of the money by $10. If the context mentions "2 strikes out of the money," it means the asset price is below the strike price of the option by two times the predetermined increment.
