Pump 1 has high volume and driven by DeFi and narratives around real world adoption, then it fell apart because of China FUD and Elon removing BTC payments from Tesla.
Pump 2 was low volume and driven by VC scam funding and monkey jpegs, then it fell apart because Terra (UST) depegged and took down basically all of CeFi with it.

2020 and 2021 were the peak of absolute cancer shitcoins that wouldn't even pretend to be anything other than blatant pump and dumps. They drained liquidity from Bitcoin and real technology in crypto.

I hope the SEC squashes the shitcoin vermin like bugs.
