Some hackers claim they are going to target SWIFT and other financial infrastructure. Its weirdly preparing a need and narrative for end to end blockchain encryption and security.

Who knows what will happen but its definitely interesting timing.

So the narrative can be established for the public. There is literally no other reason. Giving a warning to prepare is the last thing you'd want to do for something like this. Its just glowniggers running ops to affect public perception. Then the "hack" will happen later like they said it would.

The only other reason would be to try to strong arm ransom through threats but that generally works best if you actually take something first kek

Maybe but we can't know for sure either way. Generally blockchain encryption would be more secure from attacks but its also novel technology so its hard to say.

>> No.55309726

>>55308679

It definitely appears to be otherwise you would never announce you are going to hack a system prior to doing it. If the threat were real that would allow SWIFT or whoever to be on full alert and have contingencies ready to go. Its sub 85 IQ retard tier and yet they expect the public to believe it. Kek

11,000 banks world wide use SWIFT's messaging system so I'd assume the hackers could either just disable it to freeze the ability to send funds or perhaps they could alter where some funds being processed are sent effectively stealing them.

I mean blockchain encryption based fiat would likely be more secure than what they are doing now

>More secure.
No, 10.000+ western world banks working together is the decentralized aspect of fiat needed for it to function. You have bookkeeping, you have human lives checking scores, you have a messaging system, you have A LOT of keys spread out over jurisdictions.
"Blockchain fiat" in theory would simply make validation automated, something which in the least is errorful with swift, currently. It's avoiding double spending, avoiding values dissapearing or growing from 'legal' sources without permission. It really is the backbone of legacy banking, even though accounting itself basically is giving someone else your money. So 'security' isn't really better, nor needed, as admins still can swipe, confiscate or transfer your hard earned money for no good reason but plenty of corrupt ones, if you're politically against those holding the keys - are 'legally' prosecuted.
This function is the bread and butter and selling point why of you should be giving oversight and power over of your finances to institutional oversight and 'legal' recourse, and as a result, blockchain tech is way too complicated to write into protocol for this system - designed for backdooring.. Blockchain tech is about purely decentralized bookkeeping, cbdcs can not itself have blockchain tech and it never will have, as you, loosing your finances, always will happen if the powers see you using the funds against the system itself, and is corrupt by design of control and inaccountability of those holding the keys to the system itself.

I am sure we agree Cbdcs will just be rebranded, shitty control over you, whatever the selling point. And it WILL be used against all of us, somewhere down the line, as it basically never can be our money.

>>55312439
Single sided bookkeeping. That's the crux with pure blockchain. It's really great as a cash equivalent in an environment where one simply can't trust banks and government or where no banks are present, but for modern banking it's worthless, unless one adds a bunch of bullshit like smartcontracts on top of it and does the opposite of what it is supposed to be, simple and elegant, instead of bloated and unreliable
