it's a good news for chainlink stakers

GMX made 3,489,866.94$ as fees yesterday, let's do a quick math

>3,489,866.94$ * 1.2% = 41,878.40$ / day that goes to chainlink
41,878.40$ / day that goes to chainlink

>41,878.40$ / 22,500,000 = 0.00186126$ per day per link
this gives 0.00186126$ per link per day

>0.00186126$ * 7000 = 13.0288$
a stack of 7000 staked will yield you 13.0288$ extra / day

>13.0288$ * 30 = 390.86$ per month.
which is 390.86$ / month per 7000 link staked

>(390 * 12) / (7000 * 5.2) = 0.1288
GMX alone could represent 12% APY

>12% + 4.75% = 17.6% APY
so with these numbers link staking could yield 17.6% APY and that's only accounting for GMX KEK
Imagine IMAGINATIONS! with BUILD shitcoins, and more projects like GMX

get fucked bulgarians

so we're gonna get a bunch of free GMX? fuckin based. that shit is $44 dog

Is it 1.2% of the revenue, or 1.2% of the token supply? Because those are different things. Token may be like UNI and not have any yield at all (albeit it may increase in price ofc)

I say this as a two 7k wallets staker. Please clarify so that I can add this to my hopium list.

GMX is not in BUILD and the percentage was promised to Chainlink service providers, not stakers. Exciting numbers though.

Well your math only works with the 22,5 million staked link. This will increase ALOT over time (is what we hope). Of course there will be different new Build projects and other revenue streams that are getting turned on. I just think that the 12% APY from GMX might be very short lived

where do these vcs get their capital from?
i know do not question le source we are just middlemen with heavy bags of link we purchased for ¢.30 (pronounced cents DOT thirty)
vcs are kind of like de facto crypto government desu
why did they dig your trip up again popo you went dark for years unironically

>> No.55308350

>>55308171
that's only accounting for gmx, sure u're right about the pool increasing, but you seem to forget we are only getting yield for the ETH/USD feed ONLY.
imagine we get yields from all feeds + ccip + functions + automations + deco + other projects that will givout % of their fees.

we fucking made it, and by the time people will wake up to it it'll be too late

>> No.55308364

ccip will defer usage to the cheapest blockchain and essentially scale all cryptos by abstracting the layer one away.
there is evidence to believe this but the mETH kabal have repeatedly chanted eth is not for poorfags. how do you see it playing out popo if kabal usage still centers on eth despite the potential cost savings of ccip
i do not think there is any organic usage in crypto so i think ccip will initially be a hard sell
then again arbitum went against them and protocols are deploying on arbitrum
but then again arbitrum forgot to top up their wallet the other day causing the entire scaling mechanism to cone to a crashing halt kek

how? lets say $pepe only had 1 liquidity pool on eth, are you saying it will be possible to buy using another chain and not pay eth gas fees?
